I am watching this 8 years later. Checked your etsy store and you are sold out. I wish you could make more. I really love these pendants and want to make some!
I came across this paper bead craft, and found it interesting. Well, I grabbed newspaper ads, and practicing.. I had a few different type of glue lying around, hodge podge was one of them so I'm in luck, also tacky glue.. it's all for fun, til I came across this.. I am so interested in mastering this now... I am a stay at home mom, what a way to make extra pocket change... providing I get good at it. lol Thank you so much for sharing.
I remember making very thick construction paper crosses like this as a kid. I have been wondering if you could make jewelry. You answered my question, thanks. Your work is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your video with all of us.
Thank you so much. You are gifted at teaching and crafting. Can't wait to make!! I've never glazed. Always used clear nail polish. Wish me luck with glazing
very cool...who would of thunk it...lol. you did!! I'm putting together a bunch of paper bead stuff for my granddaughters so I've been looking for more ideas. We love to make beads together. This goes beyond paper beads...so creative. All I'll have to do is make one ( easier said than done) they will say grandma did you make that.. and then...I want to make one. I will check out your etsy store. Thank You For Sharing.
If say you'd be able to use a cheap little battery opera manicure/pedicure tool. It works on the same principle as a dremel. And because it's much smaller, it's probably easier to handle as well. I have one laying around somewhere. Will give it a shot.
Beautiful "cabochon"! Really well done tutorial. As a beginner, looks like it would be good to start the sanding with the rotary tool and then fine tune the finish with the emery boards. Clever way to make a channel for the wire r other stringing material(s)!
I adore this. Thanks a lot for sharing your beautiful work. You mention in this video [at about 20 minutes in] that you were going to upload another video showing how to work with the shaped templates you created. I've been looking for that video, but can't find it. did you ever make the video, and if so, could you provide a link to it? Sorry to be almost 3 years late with my request : ). Thanks again.
What an inspiration! I was wondering does the Vibrant glaze have a sticky after effect? For example, if you leave all of your finished beads or pendants next to each other, where they are touching against each other, do they tend to stick together for days?
I woke up @1am unable to sleep & found this in my email. What a treat!! My question is since I do paper beads I have a gazillion magazines saved up, could I use those and maybe use like 3-5 pieces of each layer? Or do u think they would tare to easily? Thanks for being so creative & willing to share! :0)
I have not tried it with magazines, I think the pages would be too thin but you could try and see what happens. I think you would want to try at least 5 pieces for each layer. Please let us know if you give it a try! Also please join us on my Face Book page, we are always sharing ideas facebook.com/pages/A-Passion-For-Paper/155727164511255
I was trying to count how many layers you have? It was not clear. I have bought some of your bead tutorials and pretty printer paper before. Can I make any amount of layers? I would like to try this with catalog pages. They do good for beads as well.
Hi, bought one of your tutorials but I can't find cardboard like you show in the video. what else can I use? I was thinking make cardstock i think it's called or can I used cardboard box or maybe old gift boxes?
I don't like cutting up books unless they are so ratty and falling apart, or cover-less (thus illegal to resell) to a point that it's re-donk-ulous (lol)…

Muy hermosas tus piedras. Desearía que pongas una luz sobre tu trabajo! No se ve por tu sombra proyectada. Gracias
Are you just sanding the paper without doing any type of sealant/glazing first? Love your tutorial! Thanks.
I forgot to say that I got a very nice dermal set several yrs ago for mothers day & have yet to use it. Now I will!!
Very beutiful thanks
Such a great tutorial. I have tons of paper I have painted on-acrylics-does painted paper work?
Excellent tutorial and technique.
Just one QUESTION, how could I do a hole in the piece to create a pendant instead of wire.?
Thanks...

Interesting technique. It’s called a hexagon by the way.
This is so cool but is so much work but yeah is so nice...
I love this.
Fantastisc! thank you
how many layers? by the way soo beautiful. thank you for sharing
What an inspiration! I was wondering does the Vibrant glaze have a sticky after effect? For example, if you leave all of your finished beads or pendants next to each other, where they are touching against each other, do they tend to stick together for days?
What is the "vibrant" you refer to when you are glazing the pendants? They are so glossy, lovely!
did you find out what vibrant is?
Great tutorial
They are fantastic! I make round paper beads. Have you tried it on round beads and what would be ypur process if I may ask? Thank you
are you cutting about and 1/8 around? and how many layers do you have? TFS
How much of the sides are you supposed to trim to get the right amount? I am struggling with part; I seem to always take off to much!
Wow I was way over sanding with the dremel. My dremel may be to powerful. I've already bought the tutorial now to go getting he templates.
Thank you Shianne!

are you using two exact pages glued together for each layer? So each paper has 2 paper thickness?
Can actual sand paper work?
You could put it on both sides of the cardboard middle section ~ then make earrings!!
Where did u get the filing tools?
How to get hole at top?
thanks!
Thank you Brenda!
How do I get a written copy of this you tube?
have you ever tried it with paper beads? i would love to see that.
Hi, bought one of your tutorials but I can't find cardboard like you show in the video.
what else can I use? I was thinking make cardstock i think it's called or can I used cardboard box or maybe old gift boxes?
are the papers glued to cardboard or are you sanding the thin paper?
Are you still selling the templates and tutorial? Where can I get them?
My question too, are you still selling your paper bead templates? Where can we get them? Thank you.
The files at 22:51, where can I find them?
harbor freight if you have that store 1.00
I don’t think you need a Drexel sander,I think only sanding would work,it would take longer,I don’t have a electric buffer,I am a real beginner
I'm not sure why you aren't just gluing it all and then Dremeling it, I think it would save time
Hola, alguien lo puede traducir al español
Necesito aprender ingles urgentemente. Me entero solo a medias😞😞😞
I don't like cutting up books unless they are so ratty and falling apart, or cover-less (thus illegal to resell) to a point that it's re-donk-ulous (lol)…
There are many other paper options, you don't need to use books. All the books I use have damaged pages or have been marked to be destroyed.
I use a copy / printer to photo copy the images
Its MOD Podge, not modge podge.
