Well, I'll say it again, the best vocal performance I've ever heard by a female vocalist was this lady right here. Lucinda killed it, she did seem a bit insecure, and needed reassurance from her band mates from time to time, but she delivered on every tune, and to my way of thinking, she is the female analog to Bob Dylan. Lucinda is a true song-smith and a real troubadour! Love ya, girl!
One of the great songwriters and artist. It's a shame she isn't more well known and appreciated. Same as John Prine. But that's the price you pay for not appealing to the lowest common denominator. Love you Lucinda. ❤
The greatest female singer songwriter of all time. She casts a magical spell over her audience. I have seen her perform live twice. We love you Lucinda.
I had the privilege of seeing her live a month ago. She’s on tour now, don’t miss the experience of seeing her live. She and her band are phenomenal! Love you Lucinda! As she said, “ the PEOPLE have the POWER.”

Sweet rolling tunes like a river and great musicians backing her as she delivers her true self for all to hear. With her beautiful woman elegance you can hear the pain and the sadness in her songs about breaking up and healing wounds. I was hooked the first time I heard her.
Just AWESOME concert footage. Only found it recently and what a diverse set. She covered all ground and then some-songs I’ve never seen/heard her perform live. She was SO rock and roll but the audience looks like they belong at DAVOS, not a raw Lucinda performance!
So Great. So unknown and unappreciated. Deep soul. So talented. Fantastic musicians. What else could you ask for. Also, to me sultry and sexy. Be well Lucinda. Your music has meant so much to me. ❤❤

Great to hear this positive news. We from music non-stop always try to surprise people. That’s why we also just opened an online record store www.musicnonstop.nl. Always appreciating a visit 💪
Amazing set. Thanks so much for posting, she's such a national treasure. Sweet Old World as an opener is Beyond Poignant, followed by Pineola, perhaps a prequel to SWO. The drippy audience applauds politely, some may have limited English, missing subtleties, others Euros present i suspect can't relate or do not care to relate to Lucinda's raw, unvarnished, very American emotions. Bet it was a hard set for Lucinda to get through, she gets so much more emotion, connection, positive energy from her 'normal' audience. Basel Switzerland certainly not her 'normal' audience.
Turn it around. Send some of the most exquisite music ever written from Europe down to Texas and you might say the same thing about Texans. People take what they will from music.

I am going to tell you something, I put in a conscious effort to draw attention to artists that I appreciate and have loved their work for years and how did they return the favor? By trying to take me out. She gets FLUSHED 2.
She is one of my favorite musicians on the planet. She admires the likes of Dylan, ZZ Top, and Neil Young. But she’s much better than they are I think (though out of these Young is pretty much her only equal). There is a hurt to her face and a wonderful storyteller’s magic, all the more amazing considering how simple and relatable her lyrics are. Her sound may be rooted in country, but she’s definitely rock n roll in the best possible way. She puts on a mean live show as well. She’s probably the most generous giving performer I’ve seen. I’m probably judging without a shred of evidence but part of me thinks her husband/manager exploits her and pushes her too hard. Ever since they got together she hasn’t stopped to take a breath. She used to pace herself between albums, and tour less vigorously, I hope I’m wrong.
Doug Pettibone, the guitarist on the right played with Lucinda for many years prior to Stuart Mathis joining. He has recently started playing with her again. Him and Stuart Mathis together will be something to hear alright. At the time of this recording Mathis was playing in the Wallflowers.
Unfortunately Lucinda's voice has seriously gone south in the last several years and the last 3 or 4 albums are beyond dark and mixed with Trump bashing at times. Very sad because she is an incredible songwriter.....possibly even the best.
Re- watching several videos of her! and tunes! OMG i love this woman's work! have not analyzed any dispensaries. As for trump bashing oh well some politicians deserve it.
And I think it's the best goddamn Robin she ever made was good souls better angels. Bashing Trump for all of his lies and his bullshit. So to each his own. Her voice has been going west forever. And I love it. I think she got to grannies or nominations for

Lovely words and 100% true
couldn´t agree more
Or the late John Prine, whom she once shared a bill with.
I think I would be insecure if I had to perform country music in front of this crowd in Switzerland...pretty up tight...
Well described….a real artist a real troubadour!
I just love the raw sound of her voice… Hold the sound enhancing technology ….this girl has it all on her own….❤️
Lucinda rolls with the best guitar guys.
She doesn’t get the recognition she deserves. Country at its best.

That is a really fancy dressed audience. I never looked that good when I went to see her...
Nothing like the real time grit of Gruene Hall.
Yeah, different atmosphere in another part of the world, but still there must be some real restraint and self control in the crowd on this night. 😊

Is she wearing bell bottems ? I didn't think they made them anymore. I like her whatever she wears.
Guitarists are doppelgangers.
If Mick and Keith had a baby girl who was born in Louisiana…
Not bad
What's the title
Sweet Old World
strange how she can't remember the lyrics... sad
She's constantly looking at her book.
Stuart Mathis could not make it that day so they got 2 guitarists to replace him:)
Doug Pettibone, the guitarist on the right played with Lucinda for many years prior to Stuart Mathis joining. He has recently started playing with her again. Him and Stuart Mathis together will be something to hear alright. At the time of this recording Mathis was playing in the Wallflowers.
Doug Pettibone is one of the finest guitarists in the business.
Singing and playing her heart out to an audience that's barely alive.
Shows what a pro she really is. Love her♥
sings w such emotion...but zero stage presence maybe kept her from super-stardom--love her anyway
