His father was a Boer who championed apartheid and built his sheep ranch on the land of a Palestinian family. I hope his mother didn’t share his sentiments, but I still feel awful for her being killed. Very sad situation.

My colleague who is a doctor jumped on a plane on Sunday from Alaska to go help. He and I are the only Jewish people in the clinic we work in. I’m pretty heartbroken and worried for him.
