wake up bro, new Adrien video dropped 🤩
🙌
I have the 24-70gm II, yes it's a heavy lens but it is so good that it's like having all the primes in one lens. I hate changing lenses and I also love the versatility of it so I think it fits perfectly. I shot at 35mm for 10 years before switching to a zoom lens and I definitely agree that it is easier shooting primes than it is with a zoom. I usually think a lot more when I'm using a zoom lens.
I made the same video just recently too. Kit lens 18-55 . I also use the 18-135mm which is also an amazing lens.
Love my 18-55, that lens will always be in my kit! 🤙🏼
I hadn’t thought about leaning for wider focal ranges when in a new area, thank you I’m gonna apply that going forward!
For me the 18-55mm takes to flat images. I sold mine after 5 years of use. The 18mmf2 and 35mm1.4 weight more or less the same. But just travel with the 35mm1.4 and a Sony rx100 iii in my pocket as a backup is my favourite way of travelling. The Sony RX100 is better than all my previously owned aps-c Canons with kitlens and fits in all my pockets

I started photography a year ago and I've been buying and selling lenses frequently, but at the beginning of the year I decided to just buy a used sony 35mm f1.4 and sold my other lenses. I recently did my first trip to Japan this May with only a 35mm and the 10 days I spent there was the most fun I had with photography, I felt like I knew what I wanted to shoot and having only one focal length really helped me know what I can and cannot shoot with certain focal length, in this case 35mm, and it made me more focused on finding new things to shoot that I thought wasn't interesting, or made me work the scene a bit more. I also bought your V1 preset before this trip and I've been extremely happy with my photos. I want to make those presets as a learning opportunity and hopefully I can develop my own style in the future, thanks for the tips as always
Thanks for your comment, I really think that people should get a prime lens very early in their photography journey 👍🏻
Wonderful insights as always!
Thanks! :)
Thanks for another wonderful video! In my case I’m going for the Tamron 20-40 2.8 for my Sony A7c instead. A bit lighter and wider option to use as default travel lens, along with my everyday 50 macro lens for normal work (abstract photography). Wanted to curate a minimal, light that worked best for me, not the other way round. So thanks for all the tips :)
Good choice! Seems like a good setup, I wouldn’t need the 20mm on the wide end so that’s why I am considering more the sony 24-50 ;)
another great video from the great man himself
Thanks!
Good video bro! :)
How do you decide your film sim? Or what do you use often?
Never use film simulation, I always shoot RAW and edit with my presets ;)
Love your videos man! You're the best! Can I ask you something a bit more technical? Regarding your videos, do you normally write a script first and then you record it line by line? Or you just bullet point whatever you feel good and then you improvise? How your UA-cam workflow looks like when uploading. a new video?
Fantastic video
Thanks! 😃
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Nice one! If you switch to APS-C, are you thinking a Fujifilm camera? Sony? Don't know yet? Love your videos!
I am open to any brand but I think it would be Fujifilm. Not for the film simulation but more so for their lenses, I like the build quality and images they produce 👍🏻
Are you using the 18-55mm on a full frame or crop sensor?
It’s on crop sensor but when I talk or write the focal length I always express it in full frame terms 👍🏻
