I am a big fan and have been watching your videos ever since I could use UA-cam (I am 4 years old, daddy is writing this for me). I just got my first real Henry vacuum for christmas! How old were you when you got your first and how many vacuums do you own?
It’s quite amazing how a smooth steel soleplate on the bottom of a carpet nozzle can help reduce friction and make it easy to glide over deep plush carpet. Most Wessel-Werk carpet nozzles feature a smooth steel soleplate. Even the Sebo Kombi nozzle has steel on the bottom. A steel soleplate plus the ability to reduce the suction as needed allows you to use these nozzles more easily on deep pile carpets.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I’ve always had Henry’s (Henry Xtra) who’s now ready to be replaced. I was wondering about the Henry XL so your video was extremely helpful! Don’t like that new carpet attachment that sticks on your carpet! Clearly not designed well. I was wondering though why the Henry Xtra is more expensive than the XL (when the Xl is bigger, longer cable, & has more tools? Thank you for this video. This is exactly what we need when pondering over new hoovers. 👍👏
Seems like it has the same issue as my miele cx1 blizzard vacuum cleaner. The hard floor tool (ecoteq plus) is only good for short pile carpets and hard floors. Whereas high pile/luxury carpets are really tough and you would have to go for your turbo brushes (mine is the current turboteq nozzle)
It will weight maximum 4kg which is good for a household vacuum cleaner, never had a Numatic, can't say things about Hoover as well because I never had any of the 2 although my mom already tried a Hoover as well as a corded Dyson cylinder vacuum. Personally can't say anything about Numatic itself as I never ever had experience with one but I'm having quite a similar experience with my Chinese made bucket vacuum from Lidl (Parkside)
I have an older Henry and the floor head broke, as it’s an older one it has 1200w motor and a metal base floor tool. Should I buy a newer style head or do a like for like replacement with the old one? Is the new “worse” head also made by Wessel Werk as I believe the previous two are?
I have been to chard and seen the henry museum and a lot of others! I'm not sure but I think I saw they have the original henry with the drawn on face!
The floortool looks even more cheapened than the previous one and looks like it won't stick to the floor as much as the previous Miele style type which did stick quite nicely I like the design of the Henry itself though it looks pretty cool seeing a massive Henry, great for large homes! I want one...
Hi, I have a Miele solution heppa. I really liked this vacuum because it came with a power head and a great swivel head for laminate (which I have in my Living room and hall). The motor died on this. I bought then bought a 5000 series cat and dog because I believe it had the same motor and looked the same albeit red. I got it off eBay this time. It was great condition but it didn’t seem as good as my previous model and overtime it just got worse, not picking up even moderate debris and dirt. Anyway, should I buy a used motor and repair (I am capable of this), or do I buy a Henry which I know are good and cheap. I like the look of the wessel head thingy for laminate. What should I do? And also , please tell me your favorite vacuum (past or present). Thank you advance. Great channel. You have a new sub my friend.

I like that Henrys top can now only be put on so his name is always at the front of him. I used to hate seeing any members of the Numatic family with there name the wrong way round.
The main floorhead looks very cheap and nasty, I dont like the look of it either, I think its down to cost cutting and penny pinching, especially if they only supply one bag with Henrys now. In the old days you used to get several spare bags when you bought a new Henry. I know Henrys are not expensive vacuums in comparison to a Dyson V11 or similar, but if they keep cutting costs and making the accessories unfit for purpose and not at all durable, then they will be shooting themselves in the foot.
People buy Numatic vacuums cos they're Solid and are crazy reliable, but as you said if they keep on cost cutting, it could very well end up costing them their reputation they have for reliability.
Well! With the floortool here. I think the opening on the front was a good idea! But I want numatic to go uphill a bit! But they are nowhere near as bad as Hoover or Kenwood. (Kenwood did a bagless cleaner with a really naff looking floorhead and it had a big pleated filter in the centre of the bin.) but numatic are still great vacuums! It's upsetting to say they're rubbish. But there is room for improvement!
I’m not happy about that floor tool, it looks like a cheap generic one that’s usually included with cheap vacuums. The previous head was much more superior.
@@Mr_D2_1004N I think every head that’s ever been supplied with Henry beats this new one I haven’t used one personally but you can just tell by the way it skips along the floor it’s cheap I’ve seen similar head on the vax 6131

At the waterfront in Woolwich they have a Henry
I just bought the old metal base plate one, hoping to see a noticeable difference compared with this plastic one
Always very good video and demonstration. I don’t know if the new combi nozzle is a very good accessories...? I prefer standard wessel werk model
Is the Henry XL plus is it base on the 370 range of numatic

Imagine the weight of the bag when it gets very full! In a commercial environment the bags turn solid.

I'm getting the same soon off amazon for 95 quid

why does no one review Hetty vacuums?
I have lots of Hetty videos on my channel.
I didn't realise the floor head was changed again. I prefer the 2014 version which is far more superior on a whole.
I had a john and painted in red and put the john hat on henry xl

Yes as its a 370.All machines you have mentioned are 370s aswell
Henry XL Plus is just a improved version of Edward
