If you're going 2 stroke, Polaris is the way to go imo. Even the old fanners and free airs are still going strong. Except for a few old Olympiques, most Bombies are retired....makes me want to put on my one piece" Ski Doo" suit , and fill a dish soap bottle of mix gas.
My 07 Rev had over17,000kms when sold (500ss) and I sold it still running
Can you install a recoil kit on the sled? Asking for myself. Lol
A few riders have hadplenty of problems with the motor 850 already,

Wrong, the revolution began back in the 80's with the Yamaha snow scoot. That was the grandfather of all modern rider forward design. The industry stalled for years but finally caught up to where it ought to be.

m turley actually I do and if I'd had your number i would show you it's a 2015 Polaris pro rmk 800 and I'm not brand loyal it's just that I've owned Polaris stuff all my life trust me I know all companies have weaknesses I love ski doo too the thing that keeps me from buying one is the steering and I'm not trying to look for fights I just stick up for my brand that I've rode

Not a demo, full broken in 2017 with 700 miles. Honestly new looks same boring power and same handling. And I'm glad you know there's no comparison to a t-cat or sidewinder
But for some reason tell that to guys who own 850's

Kyle, it's not the same boring power and same handling you ignorant one. of course a turbocharged 1000cc triple engine is going to be faster but as we have seen in drag race video's the 850 Etec is not far behind the turbo and it is the fastest two stroke on snow. now how about a nice cup of STFU!

The 850 is junk, I rode skidoo for 20 years from trails to ice racing and grass drags. I've had some of the fastest sleds on snow. Now if you knew anything about sleds you'd realize that this sled is garbage. I'm not saying one is better I'm saying all of them are better than the 850.
And you should watch some of my vids you'll see how fast the 850 really is
One in our group got beat by 5 sled lengths in 500' on snow to a winder and t-cat

Kyle Youngman you obviously don't have a fkn clue bud just how good the 850 is. Had mine for the second season now . Been sledding on different brands for 35 years and there hasn't been anything come even close over all to this rocket.

Shakes like crazy at idle and squeeze the throttle and your buddy's 05 600 will be right beside you
Pure junk in my eyes, I think the Lester boys are dreaming.
They also say the sidewinder has less torque than the 850
I'm yet to see any 850 even come close in any drag race to a sidewinder or t-cat
Ok first off you must have been on a demo sled because ski Doo fixed the vibration problem for the final production models, and even if I'm wrong, who cares? I've never thought to myself that a sled vibrates too much before. Also an 850cc twin shouldn't be compared to a near 1000cc turbocharged 3 cylinder Sidewinder or Thundercat, of course they're going to be faster. Plus 2 strokes shouldn't be compared with 4 strokes anyways. And third is the 850 is definitely the fastest modern 2 stroke.
