I sure wish you could have done a little better job on this one. This being the sled I own and have experience with. Makes me kinda question some of the other reviews you’ve done. I love the sled that being said you could have commented on the fact the rails are way to flimsy for that long of track or the fact there isn’t enough adjustment on the stock rails to keep the track adjusted correctly. Or the springs are not stiff enough from the factory and your always on the bump stops. Things such as his should have been talked about instead of giving the shot system another commercial.

Not to mention there a bunch of flat landers and don’t know how to ride that machine. Them saying it’s harder to turn is a load of crap. Ya watch him side hilling he’s using all the throttle and the sled is washing out. You ride the 175 completely different than a 165 or less. You don’t need to use all that throttle. Let the track do what’s its suppose todo and stay on top of the snow. You can go across some pretty steep stuff and basically just stand on the sled and just drive across it. The amount of rider input is or lack there of is ridicules. There are allot of positives to this sled and some negatives. Just didn’t need another shot commercial

For less experienced riders though, who wants maximum terrain capability, for the safety and ease of mind that it provides, wouldn't a 175x3" be the better choice?

No because a longer track makes it much harder to turn and is meant for much deeper snow conditions than say a trail or hill riding for a newer rider I would go with a 132-146 inch track

Have to be flatlanders. I could give two shits about shot. I'd rather have them keep the 2 lbs off. Better yet, take 30 off like the axys.

Or they could just add another pound and put in a lipo battery and get 20 starts plus always charging . That one shot sounds stupid and unreliable l

Too long and clumsy for me. I ride 154 and thats almost too long for me.

you lack skill if u need anything longer then a 154 lol u can get anywhere with a 154 2.5 if u got the skill ….track speed in a 154 2.5 makes up for the extra lug and length of a 175 3 inch....plus its all around the perfect sled a 154.

If you can get anywhere with the 154 2.5", then you need to seek out deeper snow, mate. The perfect snowmobile don't exist. It all depends on your environment and riding. You would know this if you had the skill you talk about.
