Worst for new players is Crossups/Cross-Ups. Also: Tick Throws, Mix-Ups from knockdown. Why you have crouch-tech in SF4, Focus, V-Reversals and slow wakeup over last few SF titles.
The most dirtiest move I've seen is Kirby absorbing me, jumping to the edge of the arena, and letting me fall to die, while he safely floats towards the arena... we are playing four free for all, and my friend literally is at the edge of the arena waiting for one of us to get close enough and repeat this heretical process. I'll be damned for that move.
Speaking as a Kirby main, they're under using a dirty move. If they could inhale you while facing center stage they could spit you under the stage. You can usually fight free from they're mouth if going for the near SD tactic and use Kirby as a step stool for refreshing your jumps. A good counter to a inhale Kirby is attack them from behind, if edge guarding down attack. Of course another counter is tossing a throwable, Kirby has a brief moment of eating animation leaving him open for an attack.
#15 Mortal Kombat uppercut. The last thing you'd want in your Mortal Kombat is someone spamming uppercut, but as it turns out, that might be what you gaet.
No it isn't, Sonya's and Kitanas moves on this list are downright overpowered and would've make any decent game recieve a rebalancing edition just to fix these two. But unfortunately old Mortal Kombat wasn't a serious fighting game back then, or even a good one.
Tekken 6 bob was a pretty big problem even in top level play, him and lars were pretty much perfect characters and super easy to use, not a great combination to have
I recall how in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, you could just impale your opponents with the weapons that were introduced into the game and let the enemy bleed out to win matches. While that was alright if you were playing by yourself and grinding for the Krypt, I remember hearing how it was changed in Deception due to how broken the mechanic was.
As a young lad i saw my best friends big brother fight some other big kid over fire ball spamming! My mates big bro punched him up pretty bad but he had it coming! This was back in the days of coin op and street fighter was 50 English pence a go and this kid was never off the thing he was the OG spam lord
Competitive melee with pay pools were basically stolen when wobbling first was found, it's an infinite combo and it takes a full stock, so most ice climbers would just practice grab combos they needed no skill.
You guys should make one of these for moves fighting game veterans hate. Everything on this list is really easy to deal with if you've played fighting games for more than 30 seconds
Extremely easy to counter eddy/christie considering nearly every combo they do starts with a low hit....it's just down and forward towards opponent as they attack. Very very easy.
Mortal Kombat Trilogy character Rain. Use his ranged Water Bubble attack (I know, I had no clue it was that poorly named either) and if it hit you won the game. Every time. Against any opponent. The attack paralyzes the target and then, the really dirty part comes in, it allows you to move them around the screen. In any direction. So, hit them with the Bubble-O-Doom, move them away from you and up. They fall. During that fall you can fire off another bubble and yup, they can't block during their fall, land, get up animation. I had only been playing that game for all of 15 minutes and I cheesed my way through every fight. I was dumbfounded that a simple character, a nobody that only showed up as a recolor joke had such a broken move.
There was an old (but cool) PS1 wrestling game called Power Move Pro Wrestling. One of the characters (I think his name was Chaingang or something like that) could easily execute a piledriver that would stun his opponent and quickly followed by a submission move, which, when used on a stunned opponent, would equal an instant win. My brother constantly did this and we would fight it out in real life, until we eventually declared that character "off-limits".
I had a great method for playing with friends who liked to ruin the game for their opponent. Stop playing with them. If you can't play in a way so both parties get enjoyment, you can enjoy yourself. Simple fix.
@@JFLunch And people like you I just tell to "fuck off." If you don't understand that being the only one having fun means you're not a good friend; I don't really have anything to say to you and I feel bad for your company. There's a difference between competition and playing dirty.
Old school Streetfighter "Being Guiled" is what me and my brother call all these moves. When Guile gets you to the sidelines and just keeps kneeing you up over and over. We call any repetitive fight move "Guileing"...
You forgot Eddy Gordo. Not talking about any specific moves, just Eddy Gordo. The guy has the easiest to execute and most disorienting combos of any other fighting game character. Unless you're playing against a pro, you don't have to even think to play Eddy. Just keep mashing his kick buttons and watch the other player's fighter get tossed around like a hacky sack.
I love Bob's backstory "Huh I've become crazy good at martial Arts but it seems just too easy. Oh, I know! I will get morbidly obese to make Kung Fu harder!" Lol like dammit Bob just be happy with being a terrifying badass.
I still remember when I was a kid, not even 10 years old at the time, my local walmart had a small arcade at the front if the store. At one time they had street fighter 2. I was playing it and the guy, I'm assuming was in his upper teens asked if he could play and challenged me. I chose blanka and being the kid that I was I spammed his electric move. Boy did I piss this dude off. I probably beat him like 5 or 6 times until his buddy finally showed up and told him to pick m.bison and told him how to do that sliding kick thing. Apparently that move can somehow bypass the electricity. I'll admit I've never been very good at fighting games but even to this day this story make me chuckle when I think about it.
I needed to watch this video. As someone who as been playing and seeing how fighting game work, it helps me not to use the same move over and over again. Not that a do this cheap crap in the 1st place.
It's not cheap. It's also not very effective either. I encourage you to loog up the channel CoreAGaming if you're getting into fighting games. He's got some of the best videos in the community with high production value. Good luck sir.
A lot of these are just entry level problems and they mostly get easier to deal the more you know how the game works. The moves on here could easily be solved with "Just block it." Or "Get out of the way." 'If you aren't going to do a thing to stop me and it works, Imma keep doing it." Its not really cheap, just effective.
Mortal Kombat 4 solved this issue in a great way. If you spammed a lot of your attacks or get a too long combo what could be potentially fatal , the ground started shaking causing the spammer to fall to the ground while a text pop up says MAXIMUM DAMAGE. Basically the game punished spammers to fall to the ground creating an opening for the opponent to counter attack and punish back.
I was already rolling my eyes when the first entry on the list was: Ryu's Hadouken Spam But when Zangief's, Spinning Piledriver, was on here as well, and labeled as dirty, I admittedly checked out. Never mind that this move REQUIRES a 360 degree input on the D-pad, as well as pressing a combination of punch buttons. It's 'cheap' because it deals a lot of damage? Seriously? I'm generally a fan of every video that is uploaded here, but this one, just came off as lowest hanging fruit. You can and have done better.
i played quite a bit of SF5, and i need to jump before doing the spinning piledriver, otherwise i mess up. fairly easy against AI, but any semi-competent human opponent would demolish me. the lariat is more threatening and a lot easier to execute
They didn’t mention Sonya Blade’s bicycle kick from DC vs Mortal Kombat. It literally lifted the other player off the ground for a ten hit combo and if timed right could also juggle them down to the ground for another 10 hits making a 20 hit combo. There was even an achievement for it. It was easy to do and super damaging.
I've got one for you, Digimon Rumble Arena, Renamon has a low sweep kick that's fast and if you immediately use her Diamond storm your opponent can't stop it from hitting, rinse repeat.
You know, this video could have been way better if you'd approached it from the angle of these being frustrating strategies, and then showing the counter to them. Instead you perpetuate the scrub mentality that has really hurt fighting games. This thinking has resulted in every new game having to provide some type of shitty come back mechanic, which newbies and casuals love, but those are the things that are actually unfair. And almost every new fighting game has severely nerfed projectile and zoning characters. It removes THE most classic matchup in fighting games; the zoner vs the rushdown/grappler. And on top of that, as Zangief was on the list, that's another scrub mindset that has affected how games are designed. Zangief is completely unplayable at high level now, even with zoning being nerfed. All because some people complain. And the worst part is, the people who cry the loudest about this shit likely will never buy a fighting game no matter how much the companies kowtow to them.

Kvasir it’s pk fire that’s annoying for me
Just as bad usin DK to carry opponent and jump off the stage in a Stock match
@@markmagician2471 Don't forget Bowser's grab. So many SDs.
I think the title should be "Moves dont know how to counter or bother to evade"
Some of Eddie Gordo's attacks from the Tekken series (tag tournament 2 comes to mind)
Ah okay. This isn’t made for the FGC.
#15 Mortal Kombat uppercut.
The last thing you'd want in your Mortal Kombat is someone spamming uppercut, but as it turns out, that might be what you gaet.
gaet
This can't be #15 when it's already in the list.

As someone who sucks at fighting games, I would like to thank you for giving me a list of MLG Strats for the next time I am challenged to a game.
Better hope your opponent doesnt have at least 3 braincells
This sounds like a salty player who isn't too used to fighting game mechanics. This should be renamed to Fighting Game Moves Newbies Don't Like
No it isn't, Sonya's and Kitanas moves on this list are downright overpowered and would've make any decent game recieve a rebalancing edition just to fix these two. But unfortunately old Mortal Kombat wasn't a serious fighting game back then, or even a good one.
sounds more like 10 mechanics that novice players cant get past.....
He clearly said novice players. Find something else to be a mong about
Tekken 6 bob was a pretty big problem even in top level play, him and lars were pretty much perfect characters and super easy to use, not a great combination to have
@@ultimateracer_ if you just got tekken 6 , I promise a day later youd be mopping people up with lars.😂😂😂😂
Ah yes, because spamming MK uppercuts is "a dirty move"
The scrubbiest stuff I've seen, honestly
It wouldn't be so bad if they just lowered how much fucking damage it does
If your getting hit by random uppercuts it's definitely your own fault
@@tartardealer7859 Exactly.
I hope Falcon is okay, his voice sounds a little sick
Probably because he's sick of these dirty moves.
I’m getting a “if I have to say that goddamn ending one more time..” vibe from Falcon today
Ah Skullgirls, my favorite fighting game of all time, except when I’m playing against a peacock.
Skullgirls is amazing!

As a young lad i saw my best friends big brother fight some other big kid over fire ball spamming! My mates big bro punched him up pretty bad but he had it coming! This was back in the days of coin op and street fighter was 50 English pence a go and this kid was never off the thing he was the OG spam lord
lol had it coming for zoning out some scrub?
Can't believe mortal combat leg sweeps aren't mentioned and where's Eddie Gordo? This needs a revision Falcon.
Why would they be? Just crouch and block.
Competitive melee with pay pools were basically stolen when wobbling first was found, it's an infinite combo and it takes a full stock, so most ice climbers would just practice grab combos they needed no skill.
Even the players who used wobbling knew they were scumbags...
You guys should make one of these for moves fighting game veterans hate. Everything on this list is really easy to deal with if you've played fighting games for more than 30 seconds
This is total clickbait. I thought it was gonna talk about the dirty moves in today's generation. Not in 1987 >:(
Well that's your fault

Eddy from Tekken!! Once those legs start spinning, it's a Wrap!! That's the biggest Cheat move!!
Haha I have so many memories of playing Tekken and both choosing as we put it the break dancing guy...
Extremely easy to counter eddy/christie considering nearly every combo they do starts with a low hit....it's just down and forward towards opponent as they attack. Very very easy.
And also gons spinning from tekken 3

everytime i hear "PK FIRE" im ready to end my shit lol
My friend Jarrod stays on his PK fire shit, dude would piss me off
What about Hol Horse from JoJo: Heritage for the Future? His ranged attack was filthy
No, petshop
hol horse sucks, not a good character at all. petshop and kakyoin would belong on this list, not hol horse.
Simple fix.
Or get good?
SE Mobster getting good doesn't make playing against cheesers fun
@@JFLunch And people like you I just tell to "fuck off." If you don't understand that being the only one having fun means you're not a good friend; I don't really have anything to say to you and I feel bad for your company.

Old school Streetfighter "Being Guiled" is what me and my brother call all these moves. When Guile gets you to the sidelines and just keeps kneeing you up over and over. We call any repetitive fight move "Guileing"...
Number 6 could be entirely explained in one simple statement.
"oh hey, big zam."
This entire list is cringe. You should just list it as “moved casuals don’t know how to fight against”

The best book of all time
Hahahahaha! Loved that book! And all the other fairly stupid tales.
I love Bob's backstory
"Huh I've become crazy good at martial Arts but it seems just too easy. Oh, I know! I will get morbidly obese to make Kung Fu harder!"
Lol like dammit Bob just be happy with being a terrifying badass.
The moves on here could easily be solved with "Just block it." Or "Get out of the way."
'If you aren't going to do a thing to stop me and it works, Imma keep doing it."
Its not really cheap, just effective.
Dont hold yourself back because you care so much about what other people think about you.
Dio when getting spammed: *WRYYYYYYY*
1:06 - Anyone know what Robin is playing?
Not sure, could be wrong, but to me it looks like 'Night Trap'.
Mortal Kombat 4 solved this issue in a great way. If you spammed a lot of your attacks or get a too long combo what could be potentially fatal , the ground started shaking causing the spammer to fall to the ground while a text pop up says MAXIMUM DAMAGE. Basically the game punished spammers to fall to the ground creating an opening for the opponent to counter attack and punish back.
in injustice 1. when people crouch and keep punching for eternity and you can't stop it.
ice climber lock in meelee?
I was already rolling my eyes when the first entry on the list was: Ryu's Hadouken Spam
But when Zangief's, Spinning Piledriver, was on here as well, and labeled as dirty, I admittedly checked out.
I loved it! Renamon! Diamond Storm! *plack plack plack*
Before i even watch, low leg kicks should be on here somewhere...
You sound... Off....really slow talking
He showed Zangief dancing.
First character that comes to mind, Eddy.
Back in the day, on SF2 we had a rule called 'No tap throw' where you couldn't jab and then throw your opponent once he had blocked. Loved the 90's!
@YEAH YEAH !!! You can consider my group a whole generation of people bruh, coz everywhere I went in London back in the 90's had this rule. Maybe you're from another country with different rules? Calm down, this was nearly 30 years ago lol.
That hadoken spam is so true. I was at an arcade and heard "hadoken" so many times in a row I thought the machine was broke. Turned around, and it's some guy playing SF literally in the corner of the screen spamming hadokens. That's all he did, was unbelievable.
hadoukens arent dirty, you're just bad
Somebody will be in the comments like get gud.
Git gud ;) but honestly, most of these are easy to avoid (and capitalize on) if you know how to play fighting games.
That's because gamers are very egotistical and ignored the reasoning behind the entries on this list.
The Stinky Cheese Man is my favorite book of all time. Your reference alone earned you a like. This made my day
When I was playing an old Mortal Kombat, we didnt know the infinite combo, but we do know the uppercut spam, fireball spam, noobsaibot teleport spam, I'm not too sure for the leg grab spam, we also can unlock bosses.. an even older Mortal Kombat in the PS1 days, where u can side step, I spam Raiden's charge thing.
Dirtiest move, you say? When somebody continuously punches you, stops, and then punches you, so you can’t move, in a game where you don’t know how to block.
When I was young, I used to rent SNES in a gameshop near our village. There was this kid who got into a fight with his brother over the use of Ken's Axe Kick.
