FINALLY a drink made with proper tools and technique.
The story of the drink is good too. The only issue I have is that your recipe is inaccurate. The proportions of each ingredient is not equal parts as you have stated.
James Bond is of Scottish descent and works for the UK government. Gin is the preferred clear spirit in that region. Hence Gin would be at the forefront of this drink. Vodka would be only to add additional alcohol without adding any flavor and it's finished with a touch of dry French vermouth.
2 oz Gin
0.5 oz Vokda
0.25 oz dry vermouth
Shake well and garnish with Lemon peel
