At 0:38 you see them opening Winniemere and drinking Hill Farmstead's Florence beer, which is brewed just about 2 miles away for Jasper Hill's Cellars. Some of the best cheese and beer from the US is made in this tiny tiny area. Gotta love Vermont for this. ♥
That is what most dairy cows look like when they are in milking phase. They are putting their energy into making milk, not storing the energy as fat. It’s genetics of dairy breeds. Those dairy cows look to be very healthy. Being under educated before coming to conclusions about agriculture and how our food is produced is a major problem in the US.
So the cows are kept underground, chained around their necks, will never seen sun or grass, and have no access to anything but water and hay... Edit:I’m sure parts of that are wrong, but that’s the way I understood this.
Also if you go to their UA-cam page you can see a video of them letting the cows out which I guarantee something they do daily. They have lush green fields....not poor animals. Poor you for being a idiot XD
Karan Gour yet all cows are impregnated then there babies are ripped away from them cows don’t produce milk there milk is for their babies the same as any other living thing that produces milk we only make milk after having a baby
I don’t think the tails are cut? The hair is only shaved, there’s no stump or anything. They’re still long, and the only thing cut is the hair at the end. It’s not hurting them. Its like cutting the hair on a horses tail too. It doesn’t hurt them, it’s just like cutting/shaving off our own hair.
'This is the countries largest underground cheese vault'...there...there's, more? Underground cheese vaults are...a thing? Man am I outta the loop or what.
Oh thank you for educating me I didn’t know that befor I just assumed that because my Nan has a farm and they don’t really look like that so she must not really milk them
With the glorious abundance of cheese we enjoy in our world today I find it hard to believe how many people still do heroin.
Ah, you know, heroin's cheaper
Ever tried heroin? Better than cheese.
@@jerryle1967 nah

Only way for griefers not to kill your cows.
It's snowing.... so there's no grass. I'm sure they let them walk around if it's spring
If that’s what you understood then you’re a moron. They’re kept in a barn because it was winter dumbass

Wealthy people in a cave with cheese we won't ever have, riveting!
What’s the music

Those cows are tied and never see the sun. Poor animals.
The cows in this video are probably taken care of far better then you are.
Also if you go to their UA-cam page you can see a video of them letting the cows out which I guarantee something they do daily. They have lush green fields....not poor animals. Poor you for being a idiot XD
Lol, that's simply not true. They are only inside for long periods during the winter otherwise they are out in pasture.
04:17 I want to see these turned into fried cheese curds 😍
Do the cows ever go out and see sunlight or are they just inside all day?
I like this woman..

0:57 is it just me or does one of those cows on that line look super skinny and abused the poor thing
Thats what cow looks like when milking its not storing fat can you educate yourself before you comment:
Oh thank you for educating me I didn’t know that befor I just assumed that because my Nan has a farm and they don’t really look like that so she must not really milk them
it's because the dairy industry abuses cows
Shocks me how most Americans think American cheese is cheese, in Europe we have real cheese.
