I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I used to think every investor lose out during recession, meanwhile some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for future, unfortunately I'm a complete noob.

@@Gabber44906 I’m glad I didn’t listen to you and others, I would’ve missed out on 20+% returns. Interest will be coming down and investors are going take their cash in 5% CD’s, bonds and money market funds and invest in stocks that are interest sensitive, like high tech.
credit card debt is at an all time high and interest rates are very high on those cards right now, it's not good.

It's funny they literally say this every year. If you say it every year one year you might be right, but it is unlikely to happen in 2024, maybe in 2030.
