I would take signet of the hunt for that unblockable instead of signet of the wild.
Not worth, it's just 10 small hits from barrage which become unblockable
definitely checking this out
If u play this build with untamed spec u have more barrage per second because of the lb ambush skill which reduces your cd on other lb skills.
Downtime is no weaver relic because of no acces to stance skils and no owp
Yeah i also tried that but had more "success" with slb, damage is higher
I wonder if bear stance would be the better choice for heal. In the clip weakness is applied on your soulbeast a lot, so bear could passively cleanse some of that as you go through your damage rotation.
But I'm not sure what is inflicting the weakness. Bear only cleanses every second for six seconds, so it might not be enough. Perhaps finding a way to work in some resistance would be better.
True, but in theory this build, as every dps build, would need a condi cleanser. Maybe we heal as one is a bit of overkill for the might, bear stance is a strong option.
@metallonegw2283 didn't think you would reply so fast. I just edited my comment to say maybe finding a way to work in some resistance would be better than bear.
@metallonegw2283 for instance, if you're off tag and not getting cleanses/resistance from the group, then maybe frost spirit and we heal as one would be more worth than signet of the wild. Not sure of the math, and it would only apply if weakness was a problem anyway.
@@pindrop. It probably is the chaos aura from Chronomancers. The only resistance you can get is frost spirit and maybe the relic of resistance, but i'm not sure it's worth it. Maybe just bear stance or healing spring if you manage to stay in the same place for a while
@@metallonegw2283I can see your point. But the problem with barrage builds is it's channel. So even in this meta where zergs aren't moving much, it's still too much for the ranger to stay on tag. Whatever passive is proccing the weakness it looks like it applies to quickly for any personal cleanse to keep up with. I think I'll give it a go with frost spirit and we heal as one. Looks fun.
I have been trying the build myself, before the buffs even were a thing. I find Gazzele as a great pet with offensive stats, but I also like Jacaranda for personal sustain/cleanse and an added hard-hitting aoe while merged. Some zergs bunker in so it's nice to have.
If all boons are covered, I go for Scholar rune and my sigils are bloodlust/frenzy and force frenzy (with enhancement/stats/fury i crit cap almost).
I was thinking of stancesharing but it felt like an overall DPS loss from the dmg oriented GM. Risky but gives great payback. Finally, I go for signet of the hunt for the occassional longbow 2 to pierce throw a zerg and get some uptime on damage while barrage recharges (with alac is almost perma), healing spring for my allies and self, and I go either storm spirit for my "well" (good dmg but bad range). I thought of frost trap but that requires a lot of trading with the enemy and it's small radius.
Stance sharing trait also grants you +3 seconds stance duration on yourself, i think that's a great trait!
@@metallonegw2283 WIll incorporate the vulture stance instead of the spirit and see if i do better with the life steal trait too.I was running thief relic for the perma dmg boost, but maybe its worth going stances with weaver relic instead.
What about reflect? So you don't kill your own party? I did that a lot? 😂😢
@@adventuringacrossamerica3552Well, for one, you shouldn't be standing within your zerg on a cloud build. And two, you shouldn't be using rapid fire except on targets that are obviously out of position. If a zerg engagement is ongoing, you can assume that reflects are up even if they're not rendering, so you should be sticking almost entirely to only barrage
Since your crit chance will be around 80% then how about changing your Marauder gear over to Dragon Gear for the increased Ferocity to try and maximize your damage from crits by increasing your damage multipliers?
Having 100% crit chance is the most important thing
@@metallonegw2283 Yes but you mention aiming for 80% crit in the video. I was simply asking if, once reaching that mark, if ferocity might not be a better option then going with a stat that focuses on power. This is a question I am asking you.
@@ZodiakSL there is a point where increasing ferocity is better than increasing power, but i didn't really do the maths. However for this build im kinda sure increasing power is the best option.
You can check this reddit thread, but it's 8 yo and maybe not super accurate

Good build to swap to in wall defenses, but maybe add turtle for that as well. Build swap for the win, lol.
Eh idk, turtle shoots projectiles, easily denied in wvw zergs.
for the shield to prevent pulls off of the wall thief scorpion wire and reflect missiles Extra protection as well. For the stick throwing coward in all of us,lol.

everyone knows this build already , Its trash , you just sit max range a shoot ppl who aren't even fighting you. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Can you show us on the doll where the bad ranger touched you?
It hurts my soul to see ppl encourage others to play like cowards is all . BUT that is what WvW is so , Should not be surprised @@Oatmeal-Savage

@@Oatmeal-Savage Tell me where you do stand up, so I can get us tickets, lol
@@po965 It's zerg vs zerg. You can be "brave" and wade into the front lines and die fast, or you can be a "coward" and die anyway as well. Maybe just takes a bit longer until they get to you. There is no inherent nobility in being the first to willingly throw yourself against a zerg and spending 10 minutes running back. There is no honour among zergs.
