ببخشید من انگلیسی م زیاد خوب نیست. .
خواستم تشکر کنم از شما.. واقعا آموزنده و کاربردی بود
Very interesting vedio alot ofgreat information great share
Dude, I’m so busy and in a budget, I researched all over and your biofilter is the best, you totally inspired me
Hell Yeah Its a solid filter for the money
Thank you so much for the detailed follow up 😊
Maybe a mechanical pre-filter.... would greatly cut down on gunk in the bio-filter, and cut down the frequency of tearing it completely down.
Thanks...
Really good video!
👌
My dad always made the filters the same way but using a 55 Gallon trash can Nd he also used the sponges and Lava Rock The ponds were always crystal clear 🤘
Thanks for stopping in and watching...I hate buying anything I can make ..Stay SAFE!!!
I have a 60 gallon bathtub pond with 3 larger goldfish. I think a filter like this would help from having to clean it so much...but what can we do about it turning green so much and having to scrub down the sides/all the big rocks in it so much? We have smaller 2-3 inch black rocks on bottom which helps with just the poop going down in there...but no real filter to keep the water clean at present...but green algea is biggest problem now. Would a filter like this and just in general cleaning up the water help all that green algea not to grow even though the tub gets a lot of sun in the summer?

@@voice4theanimal Algae growing in a tank or pond in normal... There is good algae in bad algae ..The filter will help filter bad algae out of the water ..But it can't stop the algae from growing on Surfaces ...The less sun light the less algae will grow ..Good Algae is a part of the cycle
Very interesting and informative!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Bro I made this video because of this video ua-cam.com/video/WEg8iCUo3Ow/v-deo.html You don't have to watch it...But it's got 17k Views ..Im still stunned that that many people watched my video it's just crazy... Thanks for what you do!!!

Thanks Bren means alot...Stay Wild!!!
pretty cool diy there & looks pretty simple to do too & that's a GOOD THING.
Its an awesome filter for the price if you like DIY i have had mine on a 5 person hot tub pond all summer and water is clear and fish are healthy ...Thanks for watching 👀
@@MYANIMALHOUSE I put a 110 gal stock tank on a diy pvc pipe stand I made
& it hasn't failed me yet (knock on wood) & I also set up my own filter system from a
1000 gph pump external & it does the same thing with 5 sm-med goldfish in it fat &
healthy as ever on a 2 time feeding set up. ua-cam.com/video/EglI4VUrOuQ/v-deo.html
@@MYANIMALHOUSE I'm thinking of making my next filter setup
like from a clear (not glass) container like a clear tote, I love diy's
Great setup on the water filter 👍
Thanks mate good vid
Great video Justin 👍🏻, awesome. 😉
Thanks!!!
I'm going to put the dirty medium in a trash bag with water and give it some good shakes.
hello friend so good video
The canister filter on my 55gal African cichlid tank is on its last leg. This weekend I'm gonna build a bucket filter. Thanks for some cool ideas for media and packing.
Did you see my video on making a bio swirl filter ....Its a full build of the filter in this video ...Stay SAFE!!!!
@@MYANIMALHOUSE yes I did, I watched that build video right before this one. Tonight at work I'm going to order an external pump for the tank return. Between lowes and the dollar tree, i should be able to get anything else i need.
بالتوفيق انشاء الله 👍🔔👉🙏🏼💐
I'm hoping all that is Good lol..
TAKE CARE & STAY WILD!!!
My apologies regarding not needing the 3rd [top] port in your 1st video sir!!🥴
I now completely understand why you have all three. I briefly revisited your previous video and realized I somehow missed the details about “flushing” the first time around.🤪
Again, a set-up I’ve never seen and it’s pretty darn genius!! Going to try this with my turtle pond if/when I make it bigger.😁
Btw: I love your Evel Knievel poster there. Takes me back to childhood!😊
Oh! And bring back that cool beard, dude!!
He's the man for sure 100% Thanks for checkin out the maintenance video ...Take Care & Stay Wild!!!!
Thank you
You're welcome
Filter I let it run for 6 months the best way to clean it out is to take the pads and throw them in the washing machine no soap and put it all back together awesome my dear thanks for the tips and tricks
Thanks for watching!!!!
You throw your pads in your home washing machine!?!?!?!? Ughhh. It's so hard to get that smell off your hands,I could only imagine your washing machine and clothes . Come on . Hose them down on the lawn
@@fromcitytowild I would think the next time you did a load of laundry it would wash it just like it does your clothes after you've been mucking around in your pond cleaning it.
Don't tell the wife ay! Lol 👍
That is a lot of tear down and cleaning.
Love the video!!! And that was a great idea I finally got a notification!
Glad your getting the Notifications ..Thanks for watching...Stay Wild!!!
Also you said a little attention! As in 12,00 views! Lol that is a lot of attention!! Congrats though and stay fishy and wild!!!
@@aquaterraexoticpets almost 17,000k now it's very humbling...When I did the video I didnt think it would get many views ...
Ya that’s crazy it’s the ones that you don’t think will go viral go viral!!
I would be worried about using green pan scourers with fish: the fibers come asunder and can enter their airways.
1 blood worm?? Lmao! I have so many in my filters my fish couldn't keep up with them. They literally cover the bio balls, prefilter and filter that it's a moving red mass. I think it's because the pond stays warm in the summer. Also, my fish are in the 12"+ range with 7 gold and a pleco so they can eat a lot of them.
Just put 4 Cheap c clamps around the rim, no need for a new lid every time
Hell Yeah thats awesome
Flushing that media with chlorinated water killed any beneficials you had.
I never use house water to clean my media...Thanks for watching!!!! Take Care & Stay Wild!!!!
Sorry but that is not correct. The only bacteria you will lose back flushing a filter are the ones that slough off in the masses of the solids being expelled. The bacterial are not bothered by the low chlorine concentrations in tap water, and even in the highest concentrations of chlorinated waters the low length of time involved in flushing would not be anywhere close to losing a considerable amount of bacteria.
Just to preempt any retorts, I have a degree in Biology specializing in microbiology and I have been raising fish for over 20 years.
How big of a pond do you think this would handle?
It runs my hot tub it about 300 gallon ..Its more on the fish load
He made it up as he went
???
I have build this filter and takin it apart many time ... I didn't make up anything as I went ...Thanks for watching!!!!
HA HA HA !!! Haters know nothing don't be jealous! !!!!
No change water .. u don't want that shit water back to filter lol
Too much waffling
Thank you
I appreciate you watching
