Firebird Raceway - Nightfire Nationals 2023

I have literally spent an entire week trying to edit this video. I had almost 2 hours worth of footage but some of it had blank spots, some language and some background music that would cause youtube to flag it for copyright. I wasn't planning on unloading all 2 hours but I thought it would be easy to stitch together...boy was I wrong...anyway.
Hmmm, it looks like my music during the crowd walk disappeared...frustrating...sorry guys.
This video is going to be a little different from what I've been posting. I was invited to help a friend with his race car so I jumped at the opportunity. I have been racing for just over 30 years but we lost our race track back in 2018. There are a couple of smaller tracks about 3 to 4 hours away but if I want to go race at an NHRA drag strip, I have to drive 6 hours either North to Boise Idaho or South the Las Vegas so needless to say, I have not raced since our track closed. This was a 4 day event so I tried to record as much as I could. Let me know what you think.

You did a great job. I lived a mile down the road from the track for 9 years. Would go all the time. Miss this track and area a lot. Oh well. Thanks for the show. Enjoyed!!!!
