using this as the center of my base, almost halfway through I realized I accidentally built it over the spawn in point. good thing I have no friends
You can change the spawn point thru commands!
I will be your friend
I’m pretty sure it won’t spawn you in walls. When I built over a spawn point I was spawned ontop of the object blocking it
oof--
Ify
TIP when building the tree:
- use *spruce tradoors* or *brown carpet* to hide lights if you don't want to see torches or light sources but have light around the tree
- spruce slabs and stairs can add depth to the tree as well if you want to be extra
Pin this comment
/give @s light_block X Y
Replace X with quantity
(Amount of light blocks you want, doesn’t matter in creative)
Replace Y with light level (0-15)
(no light 0 - brightest light level 15)
@@SDTimmy23 Can't do this if you're doing a survival world without cheating
Can we talk abt the amount of time and effort this man put in just to make a tutorial for everyone, he built model after model. Insane
Bro the amount of effort building this in survival. Im almost done but damn its difficult
@@jessicajiao5097 porque no usas el creativo?
@@kasokuyashimoto3775 Because they're playing in survival. Lmao???
@@otomachiunagi4208 I think they mean why not just switch to creative mode to build the tree then switch back when you’re finished. Which is a fair point if you’re not interested in the personal challenge of survival only builds
@@TheJjcczz oh well yeah that's fine :)
My kids and I started playing a smp together and I had the idea for a "giving tree" that serves as town center and has farms hidden inside. I'm hoping to settle arguments about "who took my iron?!". The design is beautiful, thank you for this
Lol that’s amazing
thats so wholesome that you play with your kids.
Just finished this in my survival world. imo, adding the leaves was far easier than making the branches. It was hard work but worth it, this guide helped a lot
In SURVIVAL?! I barely have patience to finish my tree rn in creative 😅 You are a trooper my friend
I'm currently working on this in survival too
@@karlachristianson7333 I hope you have an elytra lol

i'm only 3 minutes in and it has taken me like 20 minutes real time lol
I had to extend land so the tree would fit. I'm building it kinda on a mountain.
@@demon_hunteress8940 cool I'm building it on a realm so I can show my friend
u say u made it in 20 min i make it in 7 hours in survival
@@frogitt2202 Im doing the same lmao
@@RaidenGamer I think it would take me 7 weeks Collecting all the resources and then making mistakes
I'm currently building this tree but 8 times bigger. For each one block shown in the video I instead placed a 2 x 2 x 2 block in its place, which makes a big cube, so the tree ends up twice as tall and with four times the floor space (L x W x H). It also allows me to make more definition, like I have 8 x the pixels. I followed the video for the initial framework but also changing things up a bit.
I'll be using an estimated 32 000 wood blocks and 64 000 leaf blocks. I think it will take me about 80 hours with the decorating. I am doing it in creative. Honestly if I were to do it in survival I think 800 hours would not be enough.
Wow... that's a commitment- How'd it go? :0
@@erin.artemis Hi Erin. I got half way through the second crown of branches. Everything below that is complete. It's pretty amazing inside. But then life got in the way and I haven't played Minecraft in the past couple months. Eventually I'll go back and complete it. I'll be honest though, it became really tedious near the end.
@@sylversoul88 Amazing. And yeah, I can see how that could get tiring after a while-
@@sylversoul88hi any new news? 🎉
update
I added pockets of shroomlights (1-7) on the my trunk of the tree in different spots to give a fantasy/magic feel and to prevent mobs spawns. It’s pretty cool, looks like the tree is glowing underneath the bark.
i filled mine in with stripped wood to replicate the inside of a tree because i didnt want spawns or a tree base
Well actually mobs don’t spawn on leaves :)
A while ago my dad built me something like this on xbox. Sadly, I lost the world, but it was awesome. Love you, dad.
Man this is amazing I always wanted to build a tree like this but wasn't sure how to approach it thanks so much.
Dude I wish my tutorials were this good lol 😂
Bedrock is a lot different and the content made with it is so limiting!
This tutorial is insane by the way!
This tutorial helped me so much in my survival world!
Thank You! 😃
please turn off camera shake
@@GlitchNOut what block distance should they be
I really like this tutorial, I just wish you spent more time on the leaves.
All the people talking about using it as their base, and then there’s me who is building it because I want somethin new to look at in my base 😂
How big is your base?!
Thank you for showing the blocks after the explanation so I can just copy it. Literally have spent like 3 days trying to make decent looking roots and this surely helps a lot to make my mind about what to do with them. :D
FINALY the tutorial I was waiting for, I have been searching for a tutorial like this one to make a giant tree, pretty good explained. I'm sure I'm gonna use it in a thematic Survival with my friends in the next update. Thank you so much
So basically, I decided to do this whole thing as a dark oak tree. And added a bit different things. I decided to keep leaves there since dark oak trees are so dense, and also get less dense as it goes up. So that area is up there because I thought it was cool lol. I added a few tweaks to match my own design and it looks phenomenal! Thank you so much for your tutorial, my friends will be impressed lol.
I am not creative and have always wanted to build a tree like this, been looking for a tutorial like this. Awesome job
I plan to build a city on top of a very big tree trunk and the beginning of your video helped a lot! Thank you for the tutorial 😊
One of the things I think that should be pointed out about this build is that the planning alone to make it even (Taking into account the canopies and the diagonal axis' on them) must have taken an age. A serious amount of time and effort went into this. Well done mate.
You make this look so easy! I am in the process of making one not near as big, still working on it & it definitely doesn’t look as good yet, but thank you for the video for giving inspiration for my giant tree :)
This video has been a LOT of help, I started out using the wrong method, but thanks to this I was able to save it without completely demolishing what I'd already done. (What I'd already done looked awful lol)
Awesome, exactly what I was looking for, a tutorial with tip and explanations, I can make a decent large tree, but my problem was always roots and branches, I'm usually good with the trunk and making it a more natural shape, and with the canopy I cheated until now just adding a ton of leafs and blocks of wood to stop the from withering in a decent looking shape.
I'm about to make a "World Tree" as high as the max world height, it will take a ton of time but I need it huge to build large structures around it, like castles, air ships, portals, altars, floating islands and a bunch of other stuff, the tree itself will have glowing "fruit" hanging houses, kinda like the Halig Tree from Elden Ring.
It's been a while since I was so excited to build some stuff in minecraft.
I give this man made credit. this is a very detailed and awesome tutorial. 10/10.❤️
Brooo finally someone does a video like this, most youtubers will just tell you to use “imagination” or “freestyle” it, but I wouldn’t be on UA-cam watching tutorials if I was good at building trees, I need a block by block😂
Yo this is the realist shit ever XD
this tutorial is criminally underrated, take my like
Took me 10hours straight to get the materials done
And the next day took me 12 hours straight to get it done fast
It was all worth the time
Same but it took me 8 hours for the whole thing and resources . That’s kinda nuts
I thought it gonna takes days but whattt, 12 hours!?!?
Amazing design! I was just wondering how you made your BSL shaders look so good..
Thank you you actually made a tutorial unlike the other people
I love the design , I just wanna say that I found the tutorial a hard to follow because of how fast you were going through everything, but I love the design and will try my best to make it in my survival world!!!
I do things like this in creative and this was SO helpful for just making any tree. THANK YOU :D
it looks dope also i love your channel i subbed you deserve 1 billion subs
Woow dude, ur so underrated, I mean the time and effort you put in to your videos is astonishing, your so skilled! Thanks for the well explained video!
Thank you! 😀
@@GlitchNOut I have struggeld so much with the leaves, so hard! Could u plz give me some tips that I should think of when I’am placing the freaking million leaves? Because the leaves is so hard, btw your defently worth a new sub 👍
I've been thinking of making something similar to this and this really helped me thanks
Not only did you provide a world download with a step-by-step process, but the entire structure is built within the Structure Block limit. Thank you very much; I can actually take the time to learn how to build from this rather than being given a single finished project which is too large to actually export to an analysis world.
havnt completed it yet but im doing this to shape up my creative world. me and my friends play on it and we like to make custom giant trees in forests. for mine i put it in the middle of the forest. def is looking much better so far. it really brings out the oak tree. im going to call it "the big oak" and i did make the leaves a bit droopy by adding some blocks hanging out. its beautiful. totally reccomend!
I appreciate the effort you went into for this video. Step by step. You made like 6 trees, thanks so much for the tutorial!
I've just built a 250 block radius wall around a village and I'm using this as a statue so thank you so much
Finally someone who actually goes building slowly and explains what to do 😄😄
Wonderful tutorial. Can't wait to make a base out of thus!
I loved this tutorial so much! But can you please do an interior because I’m not good at interior But it’s your choice :D
Currently building this in our server. This is the mother tree of my base and its in a large oasis in the jungle, its surrounded by huts, and I also added organic bridges. Its such a painstaking process but Ill pull through.
you build with wood from the jungle?
this was actually so helpful thanks so much!!
Thanks for all of the details very comprehensive
Ayo 😭 u are the best tutorial guide I have seen in my whole life
Very nice build!!!! I used it for my iron golem farm and made everything fairy themed
This is cool. I'm making a big tree that's "infected" by both kinds of the nether wood. I'm doing stripes that wrap around and continue into the leaves. This will make a nice template for the shape.
I decided to do a themed world in survival based off Neverland and wanted to build the Lost Boys tree fort and omg this helped so much ❤❤❤
Soo Im doing this build on a modded server but with the tree on a floating island, is going really well thanks for the tutorial ^^
This is gonna be so helpful thank you so very much ill be using this tutorial for a jungle tree fir a town im building and this tree will be the town centre
Not only did this helped me how to build a big tree ubt it also gave me an idea how to build different kinds of trees
Wow just realized how much bigger the tree ended up. I'm building like a Forest kingdom of some kind and had a great idea of a huge "grandfather tree" in the middle of the kingdom with some house and rivers, etc.
I got bored with my other kingdom and wanted to work on something else so 🤷🏻
Feel that lmao I’m struggling to build the canopy rn tho
Grandfarther tree hahahaha i like it
I’m trying to make this on mobile as a base and I’m around half way through, I hope it turns out amazing!
You are such a good UA-camr and your video is good but you have a small amount of subscriber, I feel bad , I subbed you !!
Thank you! I really appreciate that, thanks for the sub as well! 😃
Nice i loved the tree house and shaders😊
thx for the tutorial im gonna use this for making a custom deku tree as a trading hall
The best thing about trees is that they don’t have to be symmetrical in any way. Real trees have dips in the trunk, the roots are asymmetrical, the branches grow sporadically, and the leaves fall and grow back. You can mess up your planning royally and still get a really good result.
Very organized and we'll explained
I like it
Thank you for this I really struggle with branches
I'm building this rn and waiting for the new update to turn this into a cherry tree, looks great so far
I LOVE THE INTRO BRO WHATTTTTTT
Glad you liked it! 😃
This. Is. So. Freaking. Beautifully. Aesthetic.
Bro it's amazing can u do block to block plss I'm subbing
Edit - Or leave your explanation is good 🙂
This is such an amazing tutorial because instead of giving like exact dimensions and whatnot, you're more talking about the methods and ways you can customize it to really spark our own creativity and I love that.
thx for this video, it's very helpful
Tree GOAT!
😀
it would be cool to see a tree with roots coming out of the ground and making archways along uneven ground, but perhaps that is for a much larger scale tree. Nice work!
Do you think if I put the leaves on each branch and then connect the leaves it will work
The bird: Hahaha! Human I cast the eyes of judgement upon you.
one of the best tutorials out there! Thanks for making this simple and easy to follow
i found the perfect tutorial for my floating tree island \0o0/. thank you
Im doing t he same thing!!
I’m so glad we have things like mangroves now to update the look of this even more
I just finished this build and something I can recommend is NOT building on flat ground, having some of the roots clearly going into the ground adds a good look
Best tree I have seen ever
I made a slightly larger tree to be my base, and I added a nice little hobbit hole to be the main entrance that leads into the larger body and becomes kind of an elvish inspired treehouse. All on my survival world, and man... so much time, materials, and editing 😂 I love it immensely though. Thanks for the tips and help to achieve my dream!
update: I've made the tree body, the hobbit hole, textured the roots, I made the branches and just reached the leaves... Holy smokes this is a tricky part, especially on Survival 😂
I have struggeld so much with the leaves, so hard! Could u plz give me some tips that I should think of when I’am placing the freaking million leaves? Because the leaves is so hard, btw your defently worth a new sub 👍
the leaves are in a circle shape- if you look up "Minecraft circle diagram" you'll find diagrams that will show you the exact measurements to make circles with different radii
do you recommend using spruce over dark oak, or is it purely taste?
I'd say use Dark Oak for the more natural look. Although if you DO use Dark Oak, I'd say maybe replace a couple of blocks with the spruce AND Oak wood to add texture. You'll still keep the main look with Dark Oak wood ofc, but use the Oak and Spruce to paint textures around the tree.
Making this in survival right now, man I'm glad I have feather falling on some of my gear. I should have died at least 10 times by now
thanks man you really helped me out
This is awesome !
You are pro of the Minecraft because you are rolling screen very smoothly your aim
I’m trying this tutorial for Dragon Quest Builders 2 post-game, in attempt to build a town based on an “overworld” I made for my toys when I was little
Great video now going to spend a long time getting wood
This is a big help. In my survival world I want to add I giant, sacred sort of ancient tree.
What is the aproximate size of the squeare in which you build the tree? I need to know what size to make my island
Build the tree then build the island around the tree it makes it a bit cooler and you can customize the terrain to go with the tree
This will look so cool in my fantasy ocean base, I'll also build a small village aroynd the three hehe, i made the three blue so yea i hope it will tyrn out a little amazing
Can i get the approximate size of tue square you put it in? Need to make space for it
Wow this is incredible
Thank You! :D
thanks the first time I tryed without the tutorial I compeatly messed up so thanks for helping me🥰😍☺😃
I’d love to see a tutorial on how to do one with a curve in the trunk
U did so much effort!!
good job great tree :)
great work
I just wanna know, what mod is this? Btw I got PE addition so would it work?
Thank you this help a lot
At 13:28, it sounds like he was holding In a laugh 😂 give it a listen! But good stuff man!
after i make the third branches can i skip the little detail and next to the leaf
I built this kind of whole tree in survival 😂 i cut off about 2 forest 🤣
has anyone tried this with stripped birch? thats sort of what my house is made of (birch planks and stripped birch and white concrete) because i was going for a modern look. also a lot of my interior is pink and some of the outside is so i might do something fany with the leaves (pink and white glass, concrete, white glass panes) and just make it look magical. anyone think it's a good idea?
