I was lucky to grab 3 before being sold out
I got 3 boxes, but I think I got ripped off by my FLGS. I just noticed I paid $5 more than retail for each box

Yeah I guess a bunch had water damage or something - so while some stores got plenty - others got few or none.
I love that they’re including so many customization options even if it’s just extra heads.

I highly recommend kit bashing the hell out of these and doing custom paint jobs for arcs. I had a few phase 1 helmets laying around and made Captian Fordo’s squad from the original 2003 clone wars show
Echo should have COORDINATE instead of Fives because he like repeats orders.

The reason for so many heads is so you can have them all phase 1 or all phase 2. Phase 1 ARC Troopers might look like they are Phase 2 but they have fins are their heads where the actual Phase 2 do not.
Surprised they didn’t include original phase 1 helmets along with the phase 1.5& phase 2 ones.
Then again they may be saving them for a munnilist 10 special pack.

Jacob Perkins No they where not. Phase 1 arc trooper helmets are normal clone helmets with a paintscheme. Look at Alpha 17&Fordo
@@redenginner I feel they may not have included the original Phase 1 design because it is from Legends material. I would’ve loved if they had, although I’m sure you can find alternatives online

Fives in a arc trooper squad and echo in a strike team will be awesome and it's cool that you can run that straight out of the box seeing as there's enough minis!

I recommend using 2MM magnets inside the miniature bodies and imbedded into the backpacks or jet packs allowing you to swap them between ground troops and jet pack troopers. I did this with my Phase II mortar so I can add it to the clone's back or not and I really like that option. I have not done this with Jet Packs or backpacks but I assure you, it is comming.

They work super well with Rex because, as you know, they're part of Rex's preferred retinue of troopers.

Man you are making me want to get into legion. I can’t start on a second miniature game, when I just started on Armada.
I just bought the clone wars legion box. I got into Warhammer last year and legion looks like a fun game to pick up + the new hard plastic minis look much better than the old ones. I am excited to paint them :)

I don’t play this game, and I don’t know anyone who does, but I love building minis and I love clone wars so I’m definitely going to pick up a couple of clone units.
My eldest was sooo excited to watch this with me
I wouldn’t experiment with them until they are more plentiful but I wonder if you can put his feet in warm water and make the legs pliable enough to bend the feet up or down to make ones that are meant to be on the ground look like they are meant to be flying
I've already been going crazy getting into this game, but these... these are must haves. I am really looking forward to who else they'll include, but those I would really like to have included from Clone Wars: The Bad Batch with a possible alternate version of Echo.
Others that i think would be cool additions, but POSSIBLY as "Neutral" expansions:
Ahsoka
Wolf Yularin
Tarkin
These would have to follow something similar to C-3PO and R2-D2 because you can use them in either Republic or Rebels. All three of these individuals have survived the transition from Republic to Empire. But then again each would need a younger version and older/adult version. Ahsoka being available for both Republic and Rebels. Wolf and Tarkin for Republic and Empire. That'd be nice as "Neutral" packs, but I guess they can be just for individual factions since they would most likely need alternate figures to match each one. Well... either way. Still cool.

Little disappointed that they put all those heads in but only 3 jetpack. Was hoping to have all the models with jetpack, or do a 5 man unit with them and give one to Rex

Now i need to figure out if Fives will work better in P1/P2 unit or in a ARC unit. If you put Fives and Echo in a P1/P2 unit would it be worth it to run a full unit of ARCs with the DC15? got a lot of experimentin to do...

Should I get the phase 2 clones or these arc troopers?
If you have enough minis you can always mix and match for flying models, swapping out the crouching minis in one for the flying minis in another.
I'll expect the saboteurs will come in the republic commando boxes, if/when they make them.
I received my pre-order for ARC Troopers from my LGS yesterday and I'm planning to assemble them and maybe paint them this weekend. I decided to get 3 right away because stores are raising their prices of FFG products, even older products, and I got mine for the cheaper pre-order price. I want to try a 3 ARC Trooper army build and see how well they work. I hope that @Crabbok does an ARC Trooper batrep video soon.
Unfortunately, the Commando Droids haven't arrived yet, which seems strange since they were released at the same time.
Side note: Other FFG Star Wars products were re-stocked at my LGS, including the Imperial Light Cruiser expansion... but the store hiked the price to $40! That's crazy! I've never seen a retail store resort to such shameless profiteering before.
Fortunately, I already own 5 Arqs, which I bought for the MSRP, so I'm not going to get ripped off. But I wonder if other stores are receiving ILC restocks and if they're hiking the prices too?
Sucks there are so little jet packs I really wanted to make a unit of phase 2 jetpack clones and paint them with a hawk styalized the same as the wolf on the wolf pack.
😭 my local game store didn't get them in yesterday. I might have to wait until Tuesday.

Just got done building my set of ARC troopers! They are super sweet, but I fear for their survivability in-game. I feel like they should have surge to defense or reliable because as it stands they are only as durable as phase 1s (assuming the attacker doesn't have pierce, which most things don't). I guess I just don't value impervious that much on a trooper unit.
Aw man my set has two of the same sprues. That's really disappointing since I can't get part replacements.
Wish they came with 8 minis to be able to make all heavy weapons and and the full unit and the strike team
The application to normal clone units will be fantastic the clones are really gaining in that synergy element

I absolutely love the look of them and I know they’re focusing on the tv series but kinda wish they came with phase 1 helmets to make them look like the null class arcs.

I've learned my lesson over the years, avoid any game that requires you to assemble miniatures like the plague. Probably a good thing that they don't come assembled and painted. Doubt I could find the money for another game.
