Aaah, aurora nails! 😌💕
They were pretty trendy in South Korea, especially last year- I don’t see them as much nowadays. Usually I’m not a fan because the nails always end up looking pretty thick, but your version seems thinner so it’s nice! Very cute. 🥰
I love Korea and Japan’s nail industry, they’re always very innovative. They often are the first ones to use new products that I later see in the US, Europe, and Russia- for exemple reflective (flash) gel, “solid” gel (ie Mithmillo’s cake gel), compact chrome powders (they look like eyeshadow palettes), aurora magnet (rainbow cat eye), aurora nails, full tips with gel (Après), charms, and others... But what I like most is that, since they always work on short nails and have little real estate, they just *have* to be super creative in their designs. So there’s no stuff like “it’s too short for anything more than one color or an ombré” or “I can’t/don’t do designs on short nails”.

I love this so much and wanted to try it but no matter what I do, the angel paper just peels off when I’m trimming it :( xx
Oh no ☹️ you could apply it then apply a small amount of gel on the top where you want the angel paper to stay and then cut around it? Xx
