I really like echo as a character if they go to more street level shows i think she should pop up more really dope character.
I have a pacific question since the punisher connected to the MCU now all the Marvel Netflix shows. Does that mean the punisher is getting his own series with TVMA rating and will he ever show up during spider-Man, four post credit scene.
They have not said anything about a new Punisher Solo Series. Right now he's just coming back for Daredevil Born Again Episodes. After that is anybody's guess.

yeah I agree, Kingpin will be the one who gets the Sinister Six to hunt down Spiderman and Daredevil. Thats how you get Kingpin to be the main villain for the next Spiderman movie

He’s utterly nailed the character!
So even though it’s obvious that Maya used her powers to take Fisk’s pain away, I don’t really believe most people understand what that means in greater depth. Everything that Fisk became and what he does is a direct result of the pain and suffering he endured from his father as a child. He believed that taking matters into his own hands made the world better, and he expresses that feeling by blowing up buildings and killing people because he is constantly controlled by his pain. But if you take that pain away, who exactly is Wilson Fisk? A powerful crime lord for sure, but he is far from being the same man everyone knew he was. The pain he had made him violent, but you take away that pain, you take away the violence. Whether he likes it or not, Fisk is forever a changed man. He knows this and panics because he will no longer be respected the way he was without his violent tendencies, and without said violence there was no other way to regain the power and respect he lost. That is until he saw the local news about the upcoming NY mayoral election…
Bro why are you overthinking it. All Maya did was go into Kingpin's head using her bullshit ancestrial plot powers and that spooked him. So what he does is runaway like scared little bitch.
I really enjoyed this series. It felt like the writing was well thought out and not rushed. Did you notice there were "Seven Generations" of Choctaw in the big fight? I know it's from the Haudenosaunee philosophy - but it was really cool to see here.
No the writing was NOT well thought out. Echo is a villain and is never denounced as such, fisk has been throughly character assassinated and the choreography is sloppy
If we get devil's reign that could honestly be the focal point of dark avenger/ thunderbolts.

ECHO was completely different as a series, to what I had imagined it would be. I think a lot of us expected it to be much more like the Hawkeye series in tne and pace but once I'd seen the first episode and understood that it was a tale of spiritual awakening, I accepted that and really enjoyed it. Great acting, some nice easter eggs and really vital representation of both Native heritage and also deaf individuals and ASL users. I feel like the What If? series helped with softening the blow of Cosmic origins for Native characters in the MCU, really well done. And man! The casting for Maya and Young Maya!? absolute chef's kiss!
Obviously the show is heavily indigenous and focused on Maya.
Performances of all the cast was stellar, especially Vincent. Loved the post credits of him to steer us into Daredevil Born Again. Ending was rushed for a close after a long drawn-out story - typical of Marvel, even Netflix versions. Despite that, the dark atmosphere and brutal sections were good. Wish Daredevil could have been more than a flashback, but for the story, it made sense. Very happy parts of Netflix/Kingpin story such as the white wall (nod to his sought after painting), and the hammer. Overall not a bad start into the venture into TVMA, hopefully Daredevil with Punisher against Kingpin keeps it as solid.
I actually really enjoyed the emotional ride with this series . It's easy to critique characters reactions without actually going though something similar.
I was not expecting this show to be so emotional. It was appreciated and I find the fact that it felt as though they had a real creative vision and executed it wonderfully.

I enjoyed the action and maturity of the Echo series. Her abilities handed down from her maternal Choctaw ancestors was very cool and I like that the MCU didn’t just do another Taskmaster.
One of the things that I remember very much about the Daredevil series that I never hear anyone speak of is how much weight Fisk was bench pressing in prison. That impressed me to death! Who lifts that much weight that easily???!!! Fisk is really strong! Not like Spider-Man, but strong, nevertheless. In the comic book, they claim he can bench 600 lbs; in Daredevil season 2, he's doing 450 lbs, and can lift more.
Yeah, Right! And without even breaking a sweat!
Awesome series. I need more Daredevil and Kingpin. Can't wait for Born Again.

After finding out how much was changed with the show before it was even finished, leads me to think there’s an extra amount of importance with this character. It’s gonna be an amazing experience and I’m very excited! Thank you as always to Charlie!
People are hating on the Echo series right now, but to be honest: I think it was solid. If this is a preview of the tone and violence of what we can expect from DareDevil Born Again, I have no doubts left.

I thought it was great right up until the last episode, which I thought was a bit of a damp squib.
I kinda get why the reviews weren’t very good. Like from watching it I expected it to be a lot like Daredevil show or level of greatness instead....the first episode fight was probably the best bit out of the whole thing, the other fights were kind of mediocre. As well as the rest of the story seem kinda boring an slow paced rest of the show. Episode 3 I was like what....feels like it just started an two episodes left already an nothing crazy happened yet. An the final showdown felt anticlimactic. She gives her family superpowers for a short time they easily wipe the floor with the goons. Then she tries to I think cure Fisk of his rage...then he leaves 😑 idk the trailers made this show to be Top Tier Marvel epicness like The Daredevil show. But it felt like meh...okay.
Didn’t feel that it was so good I could go back an watch it again feeling like Loki or WandaVision. Amongst the Disney Marvel shows. But definitely understand why the reviews weren’t very good.

For me, Echo was good up until the final episode. Which for some reason almost all the Disney + Marvel shows mess up near the end (minus the embarrassing She Hulk which was bad all the way through).

Loved the series and Kingpin just shows how scary he can be
I just finished Echo. Considering I was never a fan of the comic version, I actually really liked it. The power-up was especially well balanced. The cumulative power of a family line is not so over the top compared to some characters, and the emotional pay-off with her own family struggles worked really well. It leaves her as still a fairly down-to-earth character that would fit in well with most street-level stuff, and she needed that power-up to avoid being just a disabled girl fighting things she has little business doing for any future stories. It was a foundation they really needed to lay well so glad it worked. Two series now of nailing her character development too, and that makes her probably one of the most real-seeming characters we have had in the last 5 years.
I also thought the scenes without sound were particularly well done, and maybe that helped with the suspension of disbelief too. 'Best thing they've made this year' isn't quite the compliment it should be, and sadly there will be criticism because even if it was well done, it still featured a lot of strong women. All the same though, a good yarn that has somewhat changed my mind about the character to almost entirely positive. Obviously Kingpin nailed it too and it'll be interesting to see what Maya's influence on him will be in Daredevil.
I hope Luke Cage saw that same interview and ends up running against Kingpin for Mayor

What a beautiful ending. Intertwining the Choctaw mythology, to the name of "Echo" being an echo of her ancestors, to actually trying to help Kingpin and reminding him he is her uncle. And WOW - Loki and The Punisher writers for Daredevil. YES. CANNOT WAIT.

I never get tired of this rehashed black panther/avatar stuff, the last 2 episodes made me feel alive, haven't felt this way over a show/movie since avatar 2 or Naruto meeting his mom
The Echo series is a great project I never would've thought to be amazing
I also enjoyed the series. Way better than secret invasion. Kingpin is as usual amazing acting performance, and the series managed to land emotional moments which were impactful. The fight scene choreographed by echo is great to watch, especially the scene with daredevil was enjoyable. good character development. the only things that was a bit confusing were her powers and why/how they work.

I actually enjoyed echo i have been getting alot of marvel fatigue myself. It was refreshing to have a story that nothing to do with the bigger picture but still connected in a way.

So the dark reign comic arc which followed secret invasion is finally here. Will get Fisk as mayor instead of Norman, and Ross as POTUS. Very exciting and I can’t wait to see how things go in the thunderbolts movie and Captain America 4.
It’ll be interesting seeing the lasting impact of Maya going in his mind too. I feel like he could have a little turning point in his character soon? Daredevil will probably explore that. Felt like purging Norman’s sin from the comics
Overall I think echo was solid. Marvel are at their best when they focus on humanising one character or a group of characters and don’t try and bring in all this cinematic universe and multiversal stuff. Just tell a human story about acceptance, moving on from grief and growing as a person. That will always resonate with people like it did here. Not to mention the amazing cinematography, direction and choreography. There weren’t as many fights as I expected, but it made up for it with the character drama.
Also a big fan of the native representation in this series. You can really tell the Choctaw played a big part in this and it shows with how authentic it feels. Learnt a lot about their culture and traditions which is great since they and the other native tribes are a huge part of our country’s history. Seeing a marvel show in OK also feels surreal.
Good job, marvel. Keep doing the dark and gritty slow stuff please.
Man it would be amazing if Ben Barnes came back as Jigsaw and was in the street civil war alongside Kingpin, unless the possible season 3 of Punisher has something about Billy being alive

In the post credit scene, Fisk says notify all the big players. Could we possibly see Hammerhead, Bullseye, Tombstone, Diamondback, Alexander Smythe, and other major underground villians.

Loved this series! Even though the season finale was anticlimactic, it was still great! The fight choreography, the dark tone, the excellent cast, seeing Graham Greene play a role again, seeing Daredevil, and Vincent D'Onofrio's performance as Kingpin again was great! Similar to William Defoe's performance as the Green Goblin, Vincent D'Onofrio out did himself! So glad Marvel is returning to their darker storytelling! 🙏🏽💪
Vincent was talking slowly in every scene except for the one where he beat up the ice cream salesmen which was in the trailer…
Loved all of the Canadian actors in this series!
Side note.. Kingpin did get an Iron Man suit in the Armor Wars comic, so it might not be too far fetched that we see it in the MCU.

I was actually thoroughly entertained during Echo. I planned on watching the first episode last night and ended up binging the entire thing in one sitting. I was impressed with how much they made me care about a character I literally forgot existed. Some moments felt a little out of place, and sometimes even low budget, but that fight scene with DD... DANG. I legit had to hit rewind and watch it a second time 😂

Yes and not just Matt Murdock(Daredevil) returning, but also Frank Castle(The Punisher) returning for season 3 and hopefully bring in Tombstone as the main villain for Punisher season 3, and the question remains, who should be Tombstone?

I honestly had a good time with this show. While there were a few pacing issues and a rushed ending, but I loved the character development and the moments with Kingpin and Maya.

I actually enjoyed Echo, a good way to start the Ground-Based Stories.. And Making The Defenders as Canon.. I'm hoping Finn Jones comes back.. While his character may not worked out on Netflix, If he is given a better Script, he can redeem the Iron Fist Character

Great series, liked it better than I thought I would.
The pace of the show was a little rushed but it was a fun watch. Great action scenes and lots of emotion. I think I just wish it had been longer and had more depth to the story. This must be taking place in another timeline because all of this happened after infinity war and Kingpin is just now thinking about running for mayor and he was already campaigning in daredevil so it doesn’t really line up.
I still wish they would re-hire the Netflix writers for the upcoming Daredevil series. They made me care and even cry for some of those auxiliary characters, way farther than 'The Punisher' or even the excellent 'Loki' show ever did. They need to bite the bullet, stop being greedy and pay the cast etc. season 4 wages, whilst continuing to incorporate the 'Born Again' story into this new iteration.

I dont think fisk will want frank gone. He literally let him out of prison to get revenge on the people who killed his family on the condition he answers his call to arms should a major rivalry or smth come up and frank agreed

I binge watched all of Echo the second it came out and, for starters, this is the best marvel content out this year so far. I really enjoyed the show and how they integrated Maya’s ancestry fairly seamlessly into the story.

this is the closest in size from the comics this time atleast, his arms and shoulders are wayyyy bigger this time around. I was so happy to see the more accurate size, He was stiill big in DD netflix but hes def more in tune, I know they used padding this time, Im happy they did. now we gotta grow the stomach lol

The whole series was awesome, literally the best MCU outing to date. Impressive that there was nudity too as it fit into the narrative. Hope there is more Echo and family to come. Super kick ass ❤❤❤

Kingpin took an explosion and a bullet to the face! I said before when they pulled the Netflix characters in the mcu they had to make theyre abilities comparable to the MCU! He will be throwing spidey around like nothing! You see how DD was swinging around in she hulk? They have to do that . Netflix DD wouldn’t be able to take a spidey punch.

Looks like we finally know why the Thunderbolts are comprised of mostly street level characters, and I love it. Marvel, do not skip out on a Thunderbolts VS Avengers or Defenders movies. This is too good a setup, even if we did have to get some meh movies and series to get this far.

Thing is though, if one wanted to run on an anti-vigilante platform, that would mean addressing the fact that vigilantes exist because law enforcement and the courts are either ill equipped or straight up compromised to deal with the things that vigilantes had to be created to deal with in the first place.
Fisk would have to walk a hell of a tightrope here. On one hand he would have to commit to rolling back the corruption he fosters in the police and courts, only engage in small scale more obscure criminal operations, and force the other crime families to follow his lead, taking a major hit for his organization. Then on the other hand he would have to show his policies would be effective, show that vigilantes aren't needed because the police are able to act and successfully supress the city's more overt criminal element, put faith back in the system. This would mean selling out a lot of street level criminals who probably wouldn't be keen on keeping their silence as to who theyre connected to, this would necessitate taking many of then out as they'd be too dangerous to be taken alive, which incidentally the more lethal vigilantes like Dare Devil and Punisher already do and pretty much undermine his very platform.
Where does Echo fit into the Marvel Time line? I know it's "5 months after the end of Hawkeye." I have a playlist with all the Marvel movies and TV shows on my server, and I don't know what two Titles "Echo" should go in between. any Help with a precise answer would be really appreciated.

We saw how powerful Kang the Conqueror was in Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumainia, What do you think Spider-Man is going to be like in the upcoming Avengers Kang Dynasty and Avengers Secret fighting against Kang the Conqueror in his cheap homemade Suit or in the Symbiote Suit which he won't have full symbiosis with it the same way as Tom Hardy Eddie Brock?
