- This is a video walkthrough / playthrough / runthrough / etc of the Super Nintendo game Donkey Kong Country 3.
I want to say it was an almost perfect run, and while I don't die, I do get hit more often than the other two DKC games I did....I also almost forgot a hidden banana bird cave near the relatively beginning of the game. I do get it eventually after I realize when I only needed three birds left, I needed four.
The bird in question comes at around 49:02 and I actually get it at 3:14:39
Also, I'm pretty sure my game glitched for a tiny bit of time during the stage Criss Kross Cliffs. A red bee enemy didn't show up when it needed to for some reason, but a tiny bit of backtracking seemed to have fixed the problem thankfully.

The 3 DK Country have amazing soundtracks.

Nah, I think the first two have better soundtracks, especially DK2. Nostalgia aside, the music in this one was pretty average.
Let me say that the 3 chapters of this series are some of the most beatiful games I've ever played in life. Now, after many years, watching'em completely in walktrough brought me many happy memories.

I remember my mom and dad always calling this "el juego con los changitos" I played it after my sister passed away so many times because the music and sound effects would make me all nostalgic about those times ......im happy I stumbled across saikyomog.....even though you're far away now I'm happy you uploaded these videos for all of us to enjoy !!!
I like how the three DKC convey a different feeling.
1 is about nature and mystery. 2 is about adversity and peril and 3 is the most fun and futuristic.
i LOVED how this one had an "open world," as it were. it wasn't a series of stages set on different, separate levels . . . it had a unifying world with different impasses you had to figure out. just brilliant. i LOVED that. even the new DK games haven't figured that out. sigh. oh well. i'll take what i can get.

The boss in the snow world was terrifying when I was a kid. If fact all the bosses in this game are creepy lol
+OrangeRhino That boss is easily one of the hardest DK enemies to date. If you get hit ONCE on phase 3, you have to start it over and over. Really annoyed me but I missed the Aquatic Ambiance in levels so I didn't hate it too much :P

a rather underrated game in my opinion. it is the easiest of the DK trilogy, however, it is very creative, and is very beautiful and i personally always appreciated the simplicity it had to be able to find all of the secrets and bonus's. great game. RIP Jeremy, you played well. Thank you for sharing.

Soundtrack and graphics wise.. beautiful. Diddy's Kong Quest (#2) will always be my favorite SNES Donkey but what an amazing trilogy. Way ahead of its time.

Man, I remember my 2 brothers and I, each getting a new game when I was little, and I wanted THIS one, and got it. I remember late nights playing it, playing it with my dad late at night, and him, and I would take turns.
Brings back memories of primary school days, it's amazing the feeling of remembering you played all these levels after not seeing them for years.
The part where you're climbing the rope, but it's actually a fuse, has gone down as one of the most genuinely entertaining and beloved parts of any videogame I've played.
that's one of my favorite levels. Though if i'm being honest all the levels in DKC3 are one of my favorite levels.
DK1, 2, and 3 are all masterpieces, great OST background music.
The intro music in the first 20 seconds already lets you know this is gonna be a great soundtrack

i still to this day am always amazed at how good looking these games are. i find myself wondering how they did it. how did they make a 16 bit console look like playstation quality? really proves why the snes was so amazing.
From what I heard, they used 3D models and then made it into a 16 bit game, and they just made everything else as detailed as possible!
This was the SNES pushed to it's limit.
The sound of this game, the sound of the crocodiles jumping, the sound of the wood breaking, the sound of the bananas getting caught, the sound of the coins, everything, is ASMR for my ears!

@@luisa552 Luego Regresas, y te lo devolverá, de ahi se lo llevas al oso que tiene un gorro con cola en el último mundo (Núcleo Kaos, donde está el castillo de K. Roolenstein) , este te dirá como abrir una cueva para pajaro banana y ahí desaparecerá el espejo.
Dude has showed me so many things I missed. I never got past a certain area. It was the furthest my kid brain could get me so I never completed this game. I need to get a new snes. I lost all my games and systems in a house fire, I miss my nintendos and segas!

Donkey Kong is by far, one of my favorite franchises!
Out of all the DKC games this one was my most favourite. I loved the diversity in the game and all the little challenges you face through it all. Especially then free roaming you get while picking your level. Oh and don’t count out all the animals you become lmao. I’m halfway done watching it and it’s nostalgic af 👍🏽👍🏽

This is actually my favorite game in the original DKC trilogy. I don't know why.
it's my favorite aswell. A lot of people think it is the worst of the trilogy. My cousin's favorite was DKC 1, my sister loved DKC 2 - it occured that DKC 3 was the game I identified with. Looking back, I think that DKC 2 had the best levels - however I appreciate the amount of bonuses, the nonlinearity and sidequests in DKC 3.
The interactive map was what did it for me. It encouraged a lot of fun exploration.

Wonderful playthough. The Bonus Stage music is awesome, I don't mind the bonus stage interrupting the game every 2 minutes

Donkey Kong Country 3 first hit store shelves in November of 1996, over two months after the hardware debut of the next Nintendo system, the N64. Those most loyal Nintendo players had already migrated, and playing Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, Wave Race 64, and Mortal Kombat Trilogy and that holiday season meant no time to go back and revisit the Kongs' Country.
I was 10 when I lived at Fort Sam Houston in Texas when this game came out when I was growing up.
The N64 wasn't released where I live (Europe) until March 1997 so we got plenty of time to play this while we waited
I had this when my mom let us play with her old super Nintendo, it was the best
Congrats. Perfectly executed. One of the best platforms ever.

If you all remember, getting to and finding those bonus barrels was a fulfilling achievement that it gained towards and takes a skilled eye to spot them. If this game was made today instead, you can just buy 10 coins for $20 paypal. Ffs right

I love our collection, for those of us who are complete idjits when it comes to figure out how to reconnect their systems to a whole new TV setup, just seeing the gameplay after so long again is fantastic. (Although I am now seriously itching to figure out how to reconnect my Super NES!!!!)

I remember beating the game the first time, and when I saw the Buddy Bear credits I was like "I don't remember meeting Boomer!" Then I found the lost island...

this game is awesome. really the only level i didn't like was the reversed controls water level right before the last boss. it's right up there was DKC 1 and 2!

Amazing job man! Not a single death or fail of any bonus or banana bird puzzle. I know I would need a piece of paper to track the order or something lol.
The whole atmosphere of this game is very peaceful and relaxing. My favorite level is Krevice Kreepers, because of the mountainous background, beautiful scenery and awesome music. I would always use Kiddy when playing that level because he climbs and travels on ropes like a boss.
My favourite music tracks in this video game are the ones that are found in the cave stages (i.e. Pot Hole Panic), the Treetops stages (i.e. Swoopy Salvo) and the Underwater Stages (i.e. Floodlit Fish), as the music is *_really_* epic and dramatic there! Also, the Cave stages and the Underwater stages have really beautiful scenery.
