Rickwood Field looking at renovations, improvements with possible MLB game on the way

America's oldest baseball park is reportedly a potential location for Major League Baseball's Field of Dreams game in 2024. But there are already plans in place to improve the stadium for games already on the schedule.

My grandparents lived 2 blocks from Rickwood. I used to walk there with my cousins and hangout...cool piece of history!

If it’s not in Dyersville, Iowa, it’s not the Field of Dreams. It’s great to play a game at Rickwood, especially if it means funding renovations, but you can’t call it the Field of Dreams game.

So basically they are going to ruin the stadium if they make all of those ridiculous so called upgrades. Nobody wants netting put up all around the infield and a fully padded outfield! Hire security cuz that neighborhood is terrible!
