I understand most of this. But the comment about Māori not wearing hats inside gets me. I've been to lots of events where Māori wear hats indoors, even Rawiri Waititi wears a hat in parliament. Is there any further details about that particular thing?
i dont know much but what i can tell you is some iwi in aotearoa have different tikanga about that stuff like. iwi one (i dont know the name of the iwi) 1. only men can set on seats the women have to set on the groud 2. only women can wear hats inside but those tikanga are true i think thay iwi is based near tainui or tuhoe but i only know that much

Toilet paper , showering (washing , cloths . kissing dogs& cats (both use tongs for toilet paper ...arab tribes (no tissue again) use the LEFT HAND ...so Never offer it , eat with the RIGHT Shoes too ...walfing int the shitty street (animals again ) your shoes are DIRTY! many customs are bewildering ,, don't touch a woman ! don't look a" boss" in the eye (polynesian) LOOK me in the eye (while shaking hands) English .. ask specific questions ,,, it goes on forever But the one we should ALL follow isis..... NEVER ...NEVER take "offence!" ... remember... offence can never be GIVEN ...ONLY TAKEN.....think about it!
