- Shinedown's Brent Smith, one of the best vocalist, stopped by the house in 2006 for a acoustic performance of 5 of their songs. This is Save Me and he sang it, as he did all the songs that night, we so much power; it was truly unbelievable. I will be putting the other 4 songs up throughout the month. 93x Rocks Memphis.

I just love that Brent gives 100% on all of these preformances. A singer usually wanna save his voice as much as he can while he is not on a "real" gig. So this is amazing and whata singer, whata band.

This man has one of theeeeee most amazing voices in all of rock music. I absolutely LOVE listening to him! I have been listening to music for all of my 27 years and I have yet to hear someone top this man's talent. No one I've ever heard can put as much emotion into their vocals as he can, and mean every damn word he says! :D Rock on Brent, ROCK ON!

Brent Smith is awesome, I love shinedown. Brent has one of those voices with so much meaning, power and emotion that the world would definately be missing something without him. His band and him deserve everything they get.

this reminds me of a party i was at where i started singing and playing my buddies guitar and he was playing bass. and i looked up and the whole party was crowding into a tiny room to listen. it was a magical moment for me. im an alcoholic and probably will be for a long time but if i could just feel that type of high more frequently. it might just take the pain away that im constantly trying to hide from.
Get a band tgthr and start doin small shows and work ur way up. Ul fill that void/craving in no time. Even if their small shows...it’ll keep ur mind in a good place. Trust me...I’m speaking from experiences
The thing is that they are regular people and truely are no different from other cool people, just real. After their fame for so long they just want to be treated like a regular person. like.. "How's it going".. blah blah blah. Have a conversation about life.. whatever. They Appreciate it way more than "OMG I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN". However Awesome to have a jam session with an Amazing Group of Friends Shine Down. 😎

Wow! AWESOME! I saw Shinedown in 2004 with VH and I really didn't know who they were but after seeing them live I was a fan forever. I am going to see them on Friday with Puddle of Mudd and Skillet. I am going with my son and I told him to get ready for Brent to blow him away. He is the best singer out there IMO.

He doesn't know them. He won a contest through a Memphis radio station ;) Still cool to have won and have them come play though. I won the same contest in 2004 and 10 Years came to my house and played an acoustic set. Whoever made the radio stations logo outside of their house. In the yard or on the roof, won. :)
