I had the chance to talk to an Irishman and Scotsman while they were "chilling" (read spending 100s on alcohol and being incredibly drunk and loud) at the resort I work at. Wish I'd had the chance to talk to them longer. I think they'd have been pleasantly surprised at how much a rural American like me knows about the politics of the UK, especially English-Irish and English-Scottish relations.
