What fun! I looked up wild onions, and I want to tell people to be careful when going to get your own, if you do... do your research! These dinners sound delightful, thank you for telling us about them! Indigenous people idea of sharing with the community is something we could all try to start, and or go to! Love to us all!
My mom would love that. She’s the oldest living person in our family.
Come east, we do dandelion and hot bacon dressing, ham and potato's for similar reasons, it's was one of the first edible green after winter. We only do it right as they come up in the Spring before any yellow flowers or they will be too bitter.
