Good old Keansburg. My parents had Kelly's Appliance & Refrigeration. (If an elderly lady didn't have a lot of money, my dad would fix her refrigerator for free.) It's now a Chinese restaurant. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Keansburg.
On Bray Ave was Bachstadt’s. The neon sign would go off all night on my Nana’s screened porch across the street at 1 Bray ave!Ideal Beach and Lou at the stand!
Kool guys I grew up in Keansburg in th 50'S we had a pool and a skating rink and a big boat called the city of keansburg that went to newyouk city. I lived on essex st off of palmer avenue and we raised hell in those days.
Damn looking back at keansburg compared to now it looks like Disneyland now everything is abandoned and there is gang activity not even a block away from the amusement park keansburg needs to recover before it's too late
