In this video, Dr. Mohamed Ismail.M.PT., explains about the Tailbone pain or Coccydynia. It occurs at the lower end of the spine or the coccyx bone. Causes are due to injury, trauma or fracture in that region, prolonged sitting with poor posture, wearing high heels etc. The detailed explanation of treatment and exercises is given in the video.

I will try these exercises from today. I am 49 years old and I mostly get this pain when I am riding a motorcycle or driving a car. Also sometimes while sitting on a flat or hard surface for a long time too.

After 2 weeks of doing these exercises, almost 4 to 5 days a week along with hot packs, my pain has reduced considerably, upto 95%. I feel a slight nagging only when I am riding a motorcycle. I am going to continue the exercises. Thanks doctor. Feeling much relieved after months of pain.

நான் கடந்த 6 மாதங்களாக இந்த வலியால் அவதிப்படுகிறேன். Xray இல் back bone tail end bit displace ஆகி இருப்பதாக மருத்துவர் கூறினார்... மேலும் இதை repositioning செய்ய வேண்டும் எனவும் (He said they will apply the paste/gum through injection while repositioning). அவ்வாறு செய்யலாமா, அதனால் வேறு ஏதாவது தொந்தரவுகள் ஏற்படுமா அல்லது வேறு ஏதேனும் சிகிச்சை உண்டா? Pls help to suggest.
Wherever you sit use the specific pillow for few months to heel and releive pain. This is conservative treatment.
