Here's something a little different from usual. I've always fancied a gazebo for the back garden so when Alvantor offered one of their pop up shelters I thought why not?! We used it for back garden dining and drinking even through storm Agnes ( it survived without issue ) ! But you could use it for a variety of other purposes from greenhouse growing to camping under the stars.
Take a look at all their pop up shelters: www.alvantor.com

This was a perfect demonstration of the tent thank you for sharing.
Glad you liked it and thanks. A
We're so glad you love your tent Andrew. Thank you for the glowing review and we're happy to hear your new tent weathered the storm!
Just a warning for potential buyers, these tents appear to be quite hit and miss on quality.
We enjoyed our tent initially, but a design flaw became apparent rather quickly. One of the doors was excessively taut when zipped, leading to a tear at the seam after just a few uses - a defect from standard usage. When we reached out to customer service, our concerns were initially ignored. When they did respond, their solution was to offer LED lights as a 'gesture of goodwill' instead of addressing the actual issue.
I'd recommend anybody thinking about buying to first look at their trust pilot reviews, which is full of similar experiences. I think if you get lucky and don't have one with a defect, it's a truely nice tent. But if you're unlucky, you'll have a leaky torn tent and the 1 year warranty will mean nothing.
Ha! I love this review! Thank you!
Im not going to lie, for the back lawn, that looks pretty nifty by the way. On a cold winters day, with a wee heater, table and a nice bottle of pinot with the Mrs? It might scratch that 'outdoors itch' if you cant actually get out on the hills. Never a dull review😂 ATB
It gets pretty warm pretty quickly, need a footprint tho to kill off the condensation from the incessantly wet grass :-)
Love the way you set that up with a table inside and the lights.
I bet this would be great to sit inside during a snow storm.
Yes I thought the same, in the snow with a few heat sources like candles it could be great 👍
That looks real cool; it would be great for a few nights on a beach camp.
Looks really cooool
The next video and the language should be good when you try getting that beast back into the bag 😃 . The range and amount of tents Andy , your back green must look like the old campsite at T in the park .
Haha, buy one, sell one , that's my motto 😜
Love this 🏕💕
I can imagine that would be quite nice throughout the winter evenings, if it's a bit chilly
Would love to see fold it back up .
Ah, yes. Haven't tried that yet, it's still up 😂
We want a summit test 😂 , ideal garden shelter like you used it for 👍
I was fairly tempted to go something daft like that with it, too many rescues on the news this week tho, I'm not adding to them 😂
Thank you. Did it survive Agnes?
It was solid, no issues, the garden is sheltered but genuinely it's pretty strong. A
Quite a fun thing, but I was waiting to see you get it back in the bag!
It's still up, haven't tried that yet ( and it might never fold up again 😂
Aww man, I wanted to see it go back in the bag.
Is it back in the bag yet Andy?
Haha took three of us to sort that one !
might make for an impromptu mini greenhouse. perhaps get a grow in it?. not that I'd be growing weed mind.
I can see a summit camp in high winds coming up mid February 😊🤔😆
Thats got 'MRT call out' written all over it :-)
Take it up Ben Nevis 😉
Now there's a thought, or a rescue waiting to happen ! :-)
an outside drinking shelter, what`s not to like about that!
Otherwise known as a bus stop ☺️
If you're considering buying this tent, it's worth reading the reviews on trustpilot etc. I purchased one, it came with a rip. They offered tape to fix. Another rip developed, too big for the tape and they wouldn't refund or even investigate as a defect. They would only apologise and offer LED light strips, all of which are useless if you have a gaping hole in your tent. We have a different tent from them and there's no problems there. I think the product is good if you get one without defects, but if you don't, the customer service is beyond useless. They simply do not care.
Don't forget your inner tent ,,ots not as stable or water proof as it says ,.
haha !
