  • Highly skilled teachers are key to developing students’ digital competence, in particular in a context of rapid technological change. This panel explores how teachers can be more effectively supported through teacher education and training so that they have the skillset to help young people develop knowledge, skills and values for a digital world.
    The panel will address the following areas:
    • What is the impact of AI on teacher education and training?
    • What are teachers’ perceptions about the changes they face in light of rapid technological developments?
    • What type of support are teachers looking for to be able to address students’ digital skills adequately?
    • How can teacher education and training providers can improve their collaboration to prepare teachers better throughout their career?
