Hey! It'd just be really difficult for me to do because there are people around me practically all of the time. I take public transportation to work, I have a co-teacher for 2 out of my 4 blocks and I want to respect the people around me who haven't agreed to be on camera lol I also want to keep the camera separate from my classroom. I love watching teacher vlogs but..I personally don't want my students on camera meeeehhhh....I'm always conflicted because so many people request this but I don't think I am quite ready for that yet
@@amandaros3 Completely understand! Maybe you could do a Plan with Me video or a Classroom Tour after school when you're alone...just some suggestions. 😊
Thank you for this old video! I have my 2nd interview in my first year coming up. I am fully booked and have 32 interviews tomorrow. Very nervous. But I'm doing pretty much all the tips you've stated for tomorrow. So I feel reassured before going to sleep...thank you again
I love these tips! I’m still a student teacher, so I’m a long way off having to deal with parents, but these ideas seem fantastic. Definitely gonna use them for when I have to do my first parents night 😊
I think 5 min is too short. If you have a student who is doing well and the parent is just there to hear the good news, 5 min is fine but I think 10 is a nice amount of time because it won't feel rushed
@ okay- It was okay, I was afraid because I talk a lot, (like ask a lot of questions etc-) so I was afraid my teacher would say I needed reminders- and that i missed some homework.
I love your content!...there aren't a lot of UA-camrs who teach highschool. Would love to see a Day in the Life as a teacher vlog!
Me too!! =)

Great tips - how much time do you recommend for meetings? 5 min or 10 min each? I teach middle school and also have about 90 students.

And definitely try to have a few minutes in between conferences to regroup and get any notes you may need for the next person
Do more videos ☺️
