- For years I've dreamed about building a shop for my old junk C10s. That dream is now a reality. In today's video I'll show you how we built my 30x40 all wood shop in less than 15 minutes. Even though it has truly taken me over 6 months! I swear Mother Nature hates me!

They did great and even hired me to work off some of the labor cost! I found out I’m fit, but not contractor fit!! Those guys wore me out!!

I recently had myself a project garage. It’s been ongoing for over a year now. Hired and fired a contractor in June/July last year. Poured concrete and couldn’t handle it. So onto another builder. This company is who I should’ve hired in the first place. Somehow the one I fired managed to keep my money and is now at least on a payment plan return the majority of it minus a portion for work that was completed satisfactorily. Somehow he gets to make payments while I handed him a big fat check…
The crew that built my building came in and built it in less than a week. Oh did I mention I’m from NWPA where the snow comes from the lake at high rates often? It of course was the worst weather week of our winter. Those dudes earned their paychecks for certain!!!!!! So as of last week I have concrete in my building none in my driveway yet but sooner or later. I’m still in process on the project as I am wiring, insulating, heating, and building walls as well on the solo trip. Should be interesting… Once I get my wiring and walls it will be on to truck projects! I’m hoping it’s complete by this fall.
I enjoy you videos. I had a 71 Chevy 4x4 back when I graduated high school. Miss that dang truck! Keep up the good work!
Mine is 28x24 it’s all the borough would allow! Bigger than what I had.
Thanks for the support! It came together quick but pretty much stopped during the winter. I got tied up with other trucks and am finally ready to get the electric going. Hope to be done by this winter!

That job by me would be 70K and you can't go bigger than 24X24 unless you have a huge piece of property. but with that said having a perfectly level shop floor is so important and it looks like they did a nice job ....
I have been really happy with Brian over the years. He is honest and one of the hardest workers I know.
Chad. How did you get allowed a 30x40 which is way larger than the 24 footer they told you could be built ? What State you in ?
I’m near Wichita KS. I applied for a vacation of building setbacks. It took almost 6 months for the applications, hearings, title company paperwork and diagrams. It was a pretty cheap process, but took too long.
Did you purchase the pre prepared plans and if so about approximately the price and the company used. It looks great. I intend to go that way with install of a 2 post lift
