Okay I'm starting to see the appeal for playing vlad. Never noticed the very short cd's before which seem to make him a lot more fun to play then in the early game :D

I think something important to talk about is Vlad E usage early. When you said "I tapped E early for some poke it only did 50 damage". That may be true, but it adds up. Most champs dont have the sustain you do, so a light E charge or tap with Q will always out heal itself. Vlad is about attrition so if you get 3 of those good combos off you kill her next rotation without sacrificing much HP. When riot reworked Vlad his E carried the same playstyle early. Like old Vlad E over casting it hurt you a lot to get to 4 stacks. Same idea here but instead of stacking increasing the HP cost the duration does. It just important concept to understand how to trade early. Ofc if you can empowered Q you can always full charge E into Q3 because it heals missing HP plus a flat bonus. You will usually always full heal the health cost or near too it. This makes vlad able to take losing trades and turn them into good one. 😊

I feel like hearsteal and demonic are just killer on vlad infinite health scaling which basically gives your auto attacks a veigar passive and its increased by a lot more with demonic

Something you should look into is getting E max at lvl 12, dont put another point in ult untill E is maxed. Cause vlad R only gives more damage at the end "explosion", and that's not really why you ult.
