So happy for you guys. I'm still working on my bird here in Nebraska pine ridge and was planning on going up there if/when I get one. Ya'll should come here and we can give each other some tips and swap hills.
The only turkeys I’ve ever hunted until recently are these crazy western merriams. My buddies I’ve made from back east always tell me how crazy I am for hunting them like I do elk but it’s how you’ve got to do it! Very rarely do they just drop strut and come in it seems like. I’m always doing the “FERENBAUGH CRAWL!”

Black hills birds are one of the toughest you will hunt. They are nomadic and just seem to keep traveling all day long.

I have hunted these birds quit a few times and they aren't just easy to get u need to be part mountain goat good hunt fellas u had to adjust ur strategy that's turkey hunting position means everything

One day a couple years ago I called in a Turkey and watched my brother miss it, then did that 2 more times all before noon. I've missed quite a few to though, maybe even twice in one day

Not many hunt Turkey's here Michigan.I had most of the maple river by myself,i never seen anyone.Ive never turkey hunted these spots.There is so many birds,its unbelievable.I hunted 3 area's in 4 days.I had shots every day.Just didn't want my season to end.Anyways ive got to get after this dang woodchuck.

First off, thank you to the entire THP cast. I’ve only been Turkey hunting for a few years and have been successful all 3 seasons. But this year I’m taking a leap. 2 2:00 years ago I was passing through Hill City SD and when we left in the morning, I hurt tons of turkeys gobbling. Come to learn later it was their opening day. I vowed to return there to hunt one day. Well, that day is coming. My father in law and I will take on our first unguided public land hunt in And around Hill City. We really don’t have the money to pay a guide but also don’t want to waste a week. I’m wondering if any of the THP cast would be willing to look at some screen shots I have of where our cabin is and where I “think” I’ve learned from your on X videos how to scout and tell me if I’m on the right track. If so I can post my email. If not, we’ll, I guess I’ll cross my fingers. Thanks guys and keep up the awesome work

Nice bird Zack, you earned it with all the crawling. You and Greg are probably still pulling burrs from your clothing. I've been a fan for a couple of years. I'd like to know the brand of the camo netting you use to cover your camera equipment and your legs on occasion. It seems to be more heavy duty then the stuff I seem to find.
