@Vanacloud I don't know if K'ey is fixed, but if he is, that won't happen. She doesn't need to have him breed anyway.
1 thing I've noticed is that Key doesn't do his immediate play fighting with sherpa the way he used to whenever his best pal came through the door. He senses he's not up to it anymore & takes his cues from the older dog as to how he should behave.
Yes...dogs are so much smarter and sensitive than most give them credit for.. :) (I, personally, think dogs are much more sensitive and humane than any human being... ;))

Key is bestest host. He loves entertaining Sherpa and Jamie. Poor Sherpa, biscuit lady wasn't home, so he thought he wouldn't get a biscuit. Key always has a backup plan for that, and it's called Jodie and Jamie.

When Key puts his nose in the corner, at the door. It takes me back . When one of my kiddos would stand in the corner,the lab we had, would stand in the corner with them. He had a little dirty spot where his nose was. He thought he was a child also .
