Thanks Mike! We know our premier product won't be for everyone, but we didn't want to cut any corners and wanted to do our favorite game of all time justice. It has turned out way better than we could have hoped! Offering this version first will let us get tooled up for increased production once we launch the more budget friendly versions of this cool new 360 wheel controller.

The price is reasonable and nothing compared to a new pinball machine. It is really not overpriced for what it is.
Hey Brad, i agree its completely reasonable for what it is but outside of a lot of peoples budget. Nothing compared to a new pinball machine isn't 50-60% lol
The price is right on point and even undercut for most racers on the market. My racing cabs are $3200 for 1080 and $4200 for 4k plus shipping. They knocked it out of the park with this.
This is by far the best news in the home arcade space this year. It looks amazing. They thought of every budget out there.
After 4 years in the home arcade market, I have learned there is definitely something to be said about quality or quantity. That said, I would love to see this get down to more like a $2500 price tag. Not sure what the freight shipping is going to cost, but that is going to add a good additional amount to the price as well. I would also love to see the guys create a quality full size vPin with assembled and flatpack options. Can't wait to see what the Wizards from the North continue to come up with.

I would buy it at that price in a heartbeat, if I had the room for it. Most arcade racing cabs from the 80s 90s run about that price for the one game. This is a steal as a home arcade racing cabinet multicade. I am space inhibited, or I would order this immediately
Really like the full size 3 player. But, I think the pedestal version is more realistic as far as cost. The Legends conversion looks intriguing too.

I too would like to hear more about the pedestal version. It seems like the best option for those that don't want to fork out $4k CAD but still want that premium experience (it just doesn't look very aesthetically pleasing modding an existing ALU or A1Up with those wheels)
It is a lot of quality stuff included but a little pricey. Maybe $2000-2500 would be my preference.

I’d give up an active coin door mech and the non-racing games if you could get me closer to $2500.
So if I bought the real full-sized cab with just Super Sprint on it, and it was restored, not new, it would sell for $3,000-$3,500. Since I buy full-sized stuff already, I'm considering it 😊
Its an amazing option if you are comfortable with the price point. If i was more flush i would be considering it as well

I may not be able to swing that amount, but this is the best news in a long time. They knocked it out of the park. No compromises. Quality throughout. Need more info on the Atgames versions. A couple years ago, I’d snatch it up in a heartbeat but inflation is eating me up. Not as much discretionary income at the moment. But it’s a great product. If it can play the arcade version of Mario Kart, my son would go bonkers.

Sorry forgot to comment on the build, looks awesome, would have preferred instead of a physical bezel but 16x9 monitor and a digital version of the bezel.
I like the physical bezel personally and the 26 4:3 screen

Can you use a 360 degree steering wheel on all racing games? Or just Atari,i thought modern racing game wheels have resistance?

Using the steering wheels for spinner games is pretty creative. Too rich for my blood, but I hope this does well.

Actual arcades, bars, and restaurants should buy these, but it might be even too premium for that. Plywood seems like overkill. I hope they sell!

$3,500 for this seems like a lot more bang for your buck compared to the the Stranger Things pinball double the price at $7,000

What you mean those weren't Canadian dollars? Holy mackerel! It is expensive but it's not cheaply done. Just bumping up to 3/4 plywood. It's expensive but I can't argue. Fortunately, I have absolutely no interest in it. But it makes me feel better about doing my full size driving cab they sell.
Oh yeah this is basically a commercial grade machine and the price reflects that. It's so cool but the price takes me out of the equation, not that it isn't worth it
Wow! This is exactly what I want. Price seems fair but I just cant do it right now. For me it doesnt cost 4k., it really costs 20k. Why? To make it a wife approved responsible purchase by taking care of other priorities first.

For a recreation of 2 or 3 games I cant see spending that much. Especially since a nice shopped pin costs about that. I do respect the craftsmanship though.

Bit unfair to criticize the price. This isn't an arcade one up. You could have said you can get this for less in the price of a pinball instead of saying you're 60% of the price of a pinball already.
I think we are getting off on the wrong foot here. I am exactly saying this isn't a 1up and not saying it's an unfair price just outside the bounds of what people who buy retail home arcade products would usually buy. That is a fair point about the pinball table though so i appreciate that

This is just another level of home arcade product so you can’t really compare it to a 1up. It is essentially commercial grade product as you said. I will be waiting for your review Mike. I know you will bite the bullet for the sake of the community eh 😂
That's pretty typical price for a full size arcade. And it's quality not like you get from Arcade 1Up, AtGames and other low budget arcade companies.
This thing is really cool. But this also reinforces my prediction of a ~$2,000 price tag for a full scale replica NewWaveToys cabinet... if they ever actually release one, and it will only be a single or possibly a couple of games. That's also why I think that price shock to the community of their first cabinet, will also result in their last cabinet. If those arcade decks sell well... then we shall see how close I am, but likely not anytime before 2026.

It’s not what I was expecting either. I was hoping for a Build-A-Cade so we can make our own cabs. It’s cool if you are a High Roller with deep pockets but it’s way out of my affordability. So far 2024 has been very disappointing as a retro arcade enthusiast. Astonishing that none of the companies are listening to what their customers want to see. My hopes for John D bringing something worthwhile to the table have just diminished. Losing interest in this hobby now.
Have to build a few of your own . I haven’t purchased in a while either . Im building my own ikari warriors . Already did the mini pc work Glenn’s rotary stick n put a bunch of games on it n got them working
