This stuff brings tears to my eyes. Nostalgia. This stuff put me to sleep when everything else kept frustrating me. This music is what a normal persons night light would be.

You know, a few months back, I hated electronic music. All genres, all forms, I just wasn't into it. I followed that "trend" that supposedly, "all electronic music was talentless, boring, and not derived of any passion." I was so wrong. I discovered chiillstep and Sheepy's channel, my favorite music channel btw, on accident. I found bands like illenium, Arkasia, Mitis, Eden, Stephen and dozens of wonderful, talented musicians and their powerful music. They changed my perspective on music and even life. Electronic music in general is now my favorite genre and I want to even pursue making it as hobby now. If anyone happens to read this, if you want, take the time to comment down bellow your story with your favorite genre of music and why it's your favorite. I'd like to know. Feed my curious soul! Thank you Sheepy for sharing all these beautiful musicians. Really opened my eyes bro.

Also my all time favourite artist is Skrux. You have to listen to his tracks. And crywolf too
AstroDreamer well I listened to rock for a long time. Then the trend began with dubstep and my friends listened to it. The first ever song I listened to and liked was metronic from au5. Throughout the years, all the songs I found good had an impact in my life. I have a memory attached to every single one of them, more than 100 now. As I'm in a complicated friendship now I listen to melodic dubstep or just chillstep. I always did though:)) whatever. I really love melodic dubstep because as I close my eyes while listening to it, it takes me to places I've never been to. Cheers mate :)
Eden Project: Skrux is easily one of my favorite artists right now, crywolf also. They did a collab recently but I can't recall the name of the song.
MitiS is so timeless.. Really gives you that Euphoric feeling that everything is okay.

this song brings tears to my eyes regularly.
I was trained as a classical musician, played classical piano for 13 years. Became extremely depressed because I constantly pushed to be more technical, to be more...better. Not by anyone else though, this is not a sob story, I just thought that was what I had to do to have a career. I liked music but I didn't know why or what it really was.
Long story short I burned out and was just really depressed, this was the first song I heard where, if you really listen carefully, the music takes your soul. Not like Satan or something but, it's like... the hand of god, it pulls you out of your miserable life, creates a whole universe for you to be immersed in. As patterns reveal themselves, they fade. As energy rise it also falls. Emotions oscillate between gentle melancholy and excitement... It almost awakens you from your trivial life, reminding you that you are living stardust. Remnants of the very universe as it came into existence. The void looking back at itself without limit. As you exhale you come into awareness and realize literally everything is connected.
I am not a religious man but I give all my gratitude to god, the universe or whatever for allowing art to exist
It also makes me WOKE but I have to emphasize, it's blissful and melancholic at the same time. Weird but yea

This song is beautiful, the underlying meaning of it is that we as humans have the ability to keep going on and make the best out of whatever we have left in front of us, whether it be from natural disasters or man made ones, we can fix just about anything. Time goes on and we gain more and more knowledge and understanding of how the resources on earth can be used to our advantage, but how do we use them without destroying our home? The more we use, the less we have of earth (cutting down trees for example). This song really makes you think about life, I love it!
