Beautiful beautiful creations. If you made him a paper sets and put them on Etsy. You could make a lot of money because there's a lot of junk journalist that make journals that would purchase sets of handmade paper. Especially the floral. Thank you for sharing. Whatever you're going through hang in there you will break through the problems

It is the same here in Scotland Maria, dark before 5 pm. Once we reach the Winter Solstice on the 22nd December we can then welcome the gradual move towards a little more light each day, even if it is just minutes to start with. A time for quiet and candle light. Wishing you success with your paper making course.
Yes I'm sure you have a lot of the same gloomy weather too? Its always a strange feeling when the solstice comes, since it often takes so long before I notice the change. Small minutes, but then hours... thank you ♡♡

This is a season of mixed emotions for so many of us.
I lost my mom/best friend five years ago and she loved Christmas and getting the family together, do now I try to carry in the tradition.

I love making paper. I learned how as a child at camp. I made it for years but it's been several years since I had done so. I may need to start making it again. Yours is much more beautiful than mine though. I never thought to make circular paper.
How cool! I hope you find some inspiration to start again. I like the circular one because it sometimes helps to people let go of the thought that it should look a certain way.

Probably older than your parents. You are correct, December can be rough if you have lost loved ones.However we need to focus on the jot of the season. He is the reason for the season, Christ-mas❤

Yes Christmas ist not the same anymore when you loose loved ones. Especially the closest you usually celebrate with. So I am struggling with Christmas mood. But I keep on trying to bring the coziness to my home and kind of celebrating and creating my own traditions. ❤

You WILL feel at home. It’s a time journey. I was the same as you! As a young single, I wanted to see different places & moved various locals across the country. I wanted to meet different people & grow! AND I DID. Your restlessness is keeping you open to expanding horizons. That’s a good thing. You are building loyal followers by sharing bits of yourself, your life & your art. You are meeting new friends. You have some old friends. That’s a treasure. I didn’t realize the importance of that when I was younger- sadly. Your restlessness is also partially the artist in you. You love your love. That’s a positive! Our self criticisms hopefully keep us humble. Ultra egos usually are not warranted. You are good & I very much enjoy your videos & seeing your part of the globe! So different from mine. I think I would like to send you a casual cotton (I think) maxi dress. A soft red w/ tiny flowers. Kinda BOHO style. You could dress it down (sandals or sneakers) wear in winter with a sweater & boots, or in summer with bare feet, sneakers or sanders. Do you have a P.O. Box I could send it to? My mother told me that in Nordland the sun came up at 10am and went down at 2pm at this time of year and it was pretty depressing. No wonder she ended up moving to Jamaica! Lol.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having a tough month, and that some of your loved ones will be absent from your festivities this year.
Christmas can indeed be a difficult time, but personally I find that social media helps so much to create a sense of belonging and nearness to a wider family of like minded people. So I hope you feel the support of the community you have created here through this time.
Congratulations on publishing your new course. The artwork Bendik's mother has produced looks fabulous and is certainly something to aspire to achieve. It's a lovely idea for people to learn these skills with the children in their families, and I do hope many people will take up the offer.

I worded myself a bit poorly in this video so it was easy to misunderstand. The people that I lost I lost many years ago. So them passing is not something recent, just something I think about during this time. I really appreciate your kindness ♡. Hi Maria, This is very exciting news. I’m very interested in your course and I think my daughters would be too. I’ll look for it. Also, I understand what you mean about the holidays amplifying our situations. It’s a tough time and we have ideas and dreams of the way it “should” be or the way we want it to feel. The high expectations and exhaustion from trying to do too much can leaves us feeling lower than before the season started. The darkness is difficult. Haha, I actually had a clip where I explained that in my last video but I cut it out of the video since I thought no one cared. It is where the old door used to be in the previous version of the house. So our landlords have put it up there for decoration :-P
