Ahead of their set at Pines this Sunday, Corella Saxophone Quartet jump out of their comfort zones for Slightly Odway taking on one of WA’s most iconic exports, Tame Impala.
“It’s so grand but minimalistic in the build, so we thought it could work in saxophone world…”
Putting their classical education to the test Corella re-arrange Let It Happen from 2015’s Currents, stripping back the synth heavy track and zeroing in on those suuuper catchy lead melodies - it’s a whimsical new take on the familiar fave.
