Glad to see tony's returned in fantastic shape and look to see him finally get back in that win column and end the 4 fight skid by knocking bobby green right out his socks but the real main event is always the bigger division aka Blachowicz vs Pereira especially given that both fighters are ranked higher in their respective divisions…and is not only guaranteed to be fire works but not going the distance, that said only Conor gets to main event over everyone else including Jon Jones
Tony's decline has been like Greek tragedy, but gotta appreciate this man for entertaining us throughout the years.
Yeah I've been saying it for years and it sucks! He was winning exciting fights, but taking TONS of damage and was winning with shear heart!

I’ve never been this invested in an athlete, but Tony during his legendary 12 fight run was undeniable. I was there when times are good and damnit we are holding on for dear life but we are still here. May by some divine intervention El Cucuy come back and snapjitsu his way to a D’arce victory. Call it quits after that legend, you’ve earned it.
The fact he made everyone bleed on that run yet last fight he failed to make nate diaz bleed sums up his decline
@@rml4289 the 5 matchups Tony and Khabib have had and their rivalry within a division stagnated by McGregor is also nicely portrayed by a man who made everyone bleed vs a man who never bled in the octagon.

I was surprised at first, then after I thought about it I shouldn't have been. He's a genuine nice guy who just happens to be a killer. Half the idiots on home turf don't show respect, or even worse - kneel for " insert your imaginary stupid cause here ". Glad the crowd gave him luv too. They would have been even louder if they rly knew his character.

Not really. Jan is extremely old and has been on the decline his last few fights. His stamina is worse, his chin is worse, and his will to fight against adversity isn't there. He'll probably look good, but if he gets in a bad spot, he might just accept it, like in his last fight. Alex has a suspect chin as well though, so Jan can knock him out. I think whoever lands first wins. Thankfully this isn't for the belt, because it doesn't deserve to be.
I'm all for Jan , not because I'm also Polish but because he is smart and experience fighter, age is a bitch but experience is true treasure, if he used it wisely he might surprise.
