Very nice video! I used to play as a tauren druid named Lirok back in Cataclysm. This brings back some memories from my questing in the barrens. Nostalgic. I hope you enjoy the game a lot. Keep exploring and taking your time. Some of my best memories are from normal peaceful questing. Also from interacting with other players. Grouping up to do a hard quest and such. I have tried to get back to WoW many times after I stopped playing but unfortunately I no longer feel the same magic and wonder as I once did. I don't know the cause so my only advice is to enjoy it while it lasts. There are many classes and activities worth exploring. Anyway, keep making videos!
Thank you for such a lovely comment. This is my first comment so I very much appreciate it. I've been playing wow for years but did lose my way when Cataclysm came out, so I know what you mean by losing the magic. I did find it again after a long break though, when I started making my own servers. I team up with some friends and my partner plays as well, which is always fun. I also recently took the plunge and re-subbed to retail, but I feel out of my depth as it really does feel and look like a different game now. Though, I am looking forward to the Halloween quests as it’s always a great laugh. I do play other games and will in the future feature them. Thanks again for the feedback and the encouragement.
I had NO idea that you can play World of Warcraft as a single player game! I watched a couple of your videos and I find them very interesting, keep it up! Do you host the game yourself or is it hosted on specific servers?
@@LadyPlaid001 That's really interesting, didn't know it was possible - does it require coding in order to set the rules and stuff? How do you ensure dungeons are adjusted in such a way that they're not impossible yet not easy either? I recently got back into playing WoW after about 12 years of not playing and I started on Classic - the questing part is one of my favourite things in this game so the single player idea is a great one if you ask me.
@@SagaOfTheStrong You can adjust parameters in the .config files of the world server and tweak to your liking. However it is difficult to get it exact as each class and dungeon are different. I usually just set it and hope for the best, making changes as I gear up etc. As this server is a repack no you don't need coding, but you do need to know what your doing if your going into the database. I stopped playing retail towards the end of Wrath, I missed it so much and around 2012 I started learning how to make my own server etc. It's been an interesting journey and a lot of fun. I too have just recently taken the plunge and went back to retail. I love it and hate it, lol.
@@LadyPlaid001 That's really cool! Story in WoW is great so it's perfect for single player as well. I initially wanted to get back to WOTLK Classic but when I found out that is now all the way to Cata and there is no way to pick BC or WOTLK I decided to go with WoW Vanilla on the official servers (first time playing on the official servers too lol).
@@SagaOfTheStrong If you are interested in WotLK server of your own, can I point you in the direction of this guy. He just recently updated his tutorial so it should all be pertinent information. I haven't watched this video all the way through, (I have watch his other one), but I do believe it could help you. ua-cam.com/video/p4KujK0Ao7c/v-deo.html It's been nice chatting with you.🙂 Good luck and have fun!
Loved the video!

Thanks for the comment! Yes I do host the game myself but it isn't online, so it is a truly single player experience.
