Terrific vlog! Great timing for me to find this, since I'm finalizing our (me, wife, 16-years old TWIN daughters) itinerary for our trip to VN and Thailand: we leave next week. My wife's originally from Saigon and we'll be visiting her family there. We hadn't planned on Hanoi but we started thinking about Ha Long Bay a couple of days ago. I like the idea of a walking tour of Hanoi. Thanks so much! BTW, you two are flat-out gorgeous! I'd rate Ha Long Bay the 2nd most beautiful view in the video.
Time to Fly yes, most accommodations are cheap. Most of our means of transportation are included in the tours that we purchased. On all other occasions that we got around outside the tour, we use uber and it was relatively a lot cheaper than here in Australia.

When you exchanged your money for dong you paid 10%. you could have done that in the US at Wells Fargo Bank, every day of the year. Could u have bargained for a better rate? Like 5 percent.nice vid

meheraj mansur yes, we booked everything online. Just google Hanoi Free Walking Tours and you’ll be able to choose from their different tours. The Blue Dragon Tours also offer free walking tour if you book a cruise with them. Yes, we mainly used uber/grab for the commute. Very convenient. :)
Mr. Canlas yup! If you watch the video we only spent overnight in Halong Bay and the rest we spent exploring Hanoi. Ooh Ninh binh sounds interesting. We’ll make sure to check that out when we come back. Thanks! ☺️

Ninh binh is a better place to visit compared to halong bay. I think 1 day in haloong bay is enough.
