Had one of these on my campus Dodge Durango. For a department that needs a basic bar, this is perfect! We had takedown's with no alleys.
I run this Ecco Vantage 48" amber light bar on my Pilot Car/Escort Vehicle. Very bright and excellent quality. I'm in the Boise, ID area and it's nice to support a local company. I highly recommend Ecco Products.

How do you change the flash pattern after it’s all installed on the vehicle? Does it have to be pre wired to select different patterns ?
Hey there - This Lightbar does need to be powered to select and change the flash pattern; so yes, it does need to be prewired (either on the vehicle or work bench). If you want to change the pattern easily and often, adding a momentary switch is the way to go. If the Bar is already installed, it's really just a matter of getting to the end of the harness and applying +12volts momentarily to the Violet (program patterns) wire.

What does SEL mean/do on the controller
SEL means "Select". It's used to change the Flash Pattern.
