I love my Avalir 2 I bought brand new two years ago. I grew up around Kirbys and used every model deom the Heritage 84 to the Avalir, except for the G6, Sentria 1, and the first Avalir. I didn't waste money of the shampoo attachment though, I still swear by my Bissell Shampooer. Extraction is the best way to shampoo, a lot better than the dry foam method. Other than that, I tell all my friends and family that it's the best vacuum on the market besides the Riccar Radiance.
