To me, I absolutely love the opening of L'Eau. It smells nice and powdery/floral. Then in the drydown, L'Eau has some watery notes that the original doesn't have, which I like. The iris is fantastic in both. Also, I don't get how everyone says that L'Eau has poor performance - on my skin, it lasts hours and hours and hours and hours!
I like all of them. Intense, leau and og. Intense just adds an incense note and quite interesting.
Somehow, L'homme L'eau always worked better on my skin. Didn't fizzle as quick as the OG, but lacked some of the chocolatey nuances in the drydown. Still, ended up going for the big boy bottle and never looked back. It's strange to say, but I really hope they continue making flankers of the line. Just as long as they still have that nice powdery iris touch. Appreciate your take Steve!
Yeah, i didn't actually comment about performance. I actually find the performance of these two very similar.
If you're into soapy fragrances these two are the best out there. Infusion d'homme and infusion d'iris cedre are also great but already discontinued sadly!
Loved the opening mate and you know I love it in SLO MO, so funny. Great to hear the comparison between these🙏🏻👍🏻

This is still a useful review. Many times they give a flanker a name like "intense" or "extreme" and the new name has nothing related to what they actually changed.....
Yeah, annoying when that happens. When you want a stronger version but they change the note profile.

Great Intro haha! Very well description, saver but more complex. Slightly prefer the smell of Leau to the OG but it really falls short on longjevety when I spray them side by side. Not a fan of the intense. Have you tried D&C pour homme intenso? I find that to be a great replacement for Prada L'homme, same versatility, it's got this detergent like smell but more interesting imo. :)

I completely agree with you mate. For me I prefer the original. This smells cheaper. I wish it were more adventurous and zingy.

Absolu isn’t really my thing a bit youthful and I’m not a tonka fan
I got into cologne years ago because I wanted a scent for the gym that would make me smell fresh and clean so I thought I wanted a soapy scent after I got into cologne's I realized I don't want to smell like a bar soap.
Fair comment. Prada are renowned for soapy frags. Amber pout homme is not one I enjoy

I'm a Prada frag fanboy. I have L'homme, L'homme L'Eau, L'homme Intense, Amber Pour Homme and Amber Pour Homme Intense. I NEED L'homme Absolu! Anyway, It's really hard for me to pick out the differences between L'homme and L'Eau and I'm not sure if I could tell the difference on someone else, but L'Eau does come off as more summery in a subtle way. It's become my dumb reach summer frag this year. I really do enjoy this line very much. Intense is a darker more nighttime going out attention grabber version of L'homme. If you're rocking L'homme or L'Eau daytime at work, Intense is a perfect re-spray when you're going straight out for drinks or whatever after work. Steve, I think you'd really like Intense for those occasions.

I have all three and (stupidly) picked up a 50ml of Intense, to save a few quid and it's actually solid, so could've had a full one for very little more 🤦🏻♂️
On me, the intense is no different on performance, which was initially the reason for buying.
However, a great addition of depth and to me, a really 'fresh' leather 🤷🏻♂️
L'Eau for Summer, L'Homme for Spring/Autumn and Intense for Winter - Win 😎
