Got a copy of an email from Prada confirming discontinuation of Prada L'Homme Intense. It's posted up on my community tab if anybody wants to see it. Looks like Prada L'Homme Intense is likely going the way of the dodo so scoop a bottle up if you've been wanting one.
So sad. This is a recent discovery for me. Thanks to you and George for recommending this.
What about the original Prada Lhomme? Will it be stil avaible in the futur?

I think clone companies should start putting more of an emphasis on discontinued designers instead of mainly just focusing on niche. Designers are getting discontinued at an insane rate lately.
It's about popularity, i'm assuming it cost too much to make and they aren't turning over enough money quick enough to keep up. L'homme ideal is just the popular one and nobody really buys intense
Check out Parfums Vintage. They make over a dozen versions of different discontinued designer frags. They aren't the cheapest clone house out there but there juice is top notch quality and the quality of there ingredients used is actually better then a lot of the niche houses.
Some do but it is usually very beloved version like vintage versions of scents Pre IFRA banning some fragrances
@@valhallametals9779 I like Parfums Vintage but I still think the market of discontinued designers is largely untapped. For instance, no one to my knowledge has cloned Luna Rossa Extreme yet and that one has been gone for 3-4 years.

@@7860092me personally it projects very well, and projects for ab 3-4 hours after spray for about 2 feet. Overall lasts me around 8 hours as well.

Just canceled my order for intense so someone else could get it. Since I’m not the biggest fan of the fragrance. I’ve the original and leau and they work just fine for me.

Prada has this perfume in production again under the signature of L'Oréal and maintains its original formula. I was visiting Canada the last two weeks and I already saw several Prada perfumes for sale and also Valentino perfumes produced in France by L'Oréal.

I don't think they're getting discontinued...it's sort of happening the same thing that happened with Valentino...since they recently where bought by Loreal...
They just came back available here in México after some time wihtout Prada being available here...so...
I am from Czechia and you don't find Prada L'Homme line at any retailers brick and mortar shops anymore here.
Douglas retail chain has the whole line on their e-shop, but also not in the actual shops.
You can still easily get these via local discounters though.
I'm getting 3 or 4 bottles this week. Can't live without this one.

Both the OG and the Intense are part of my signature scents and I sure do hope Prada just had something going on behind the scenes production-wise, or (re)formulation-wise and they will get new stocks out. We would be loosing some gems, if they discontinue this.

Man it shouldn’t be. Because I live in Milan. City where Prada is located. I can find easily without problem. Additionally asked them will it be discontinued or discontinued. They responded me no not at all. We have new stocks next Monday will arrive. Then I went to get the intense one. 92 euro for 100ml. Maybe it isn’t cheap but I got from a boutique.
As a business it might be in their interest to give the impression of a discontinuation to see if they can bolster demand and raise the price. Of course if the demand stays low they discontinue.
I hope they send the whole line to retailers like Ross and TJMaxx. I would definetly buy them if they were less expensive.
Take the Luna Rosa line, but not the LHomme line! I just got the Intense, and have a 150 ml LHomme. Might need to get more!
Hay Ash, I love the original Pravda L’homme. I’ve had many bottles of this one. I recently purchased Intense and didn’t like it so luckily I managed to send it back. I’ve then bought L’eau and that’s more my cup of tea. I managed to get L’eau as a 100ml gift set for £49.00 absolute bargain.
No worries, I just saw it all sitting on a ship waiting outside the Bay Area to be unloaded, just give it some time 👌
I can confirm the information for Germany as well. Less and less stock in stores and the prices on discounters went up across the line for about 20€ in the last 3-4 months, which is pretty insane, unless the fragrance is axed...
I still found it at douglas and karstadt berlin until now
Hi Ash. My theory is that this is happening because production is switching to L’Oreal. We already saw this with Valentino. I’m sure they’ll all pop up in stock eventually repackaged and reformulated at worst. Intense is in stock on Notino in Europe.
Notino is not an indicator, as they basically buy older or left over stock mostly... as soon as its gone from Harrods, Harvey Nicholls, Selfidges, John Lewis it's being axed... I know because I'm employed in the purchase dept in one of these said stores here in the UK. Added bonus I get to hear direct for our wholesaler when something is being discontinued and the reason I have x6 bottles of 50ml TF plum japonais in my collection, along with many more multiple bottles. I'll let you into a secret VR spicebomb extreme production has also ceased, along with lhomme intense.
@@Andy_T79 Valentino Uomo Intense was also thought to be discontinued when production switched to L’Oreal but it recently popped up again repackaged.

i am from Austria and the Prada Lhome line is for a long time very very little in terms of Bottles in Stores , Lhomme Intense is since mid 2020 pretty rare

Just got a bottled of intense. My brother bought it in Zurich, at the airport. It was made 3 months ago (as per batch code) in France. It is not discontinued after all. It is a wonderful fragrance and you can't find it in Brazil (at least not in stores and at normal prices)
I messaged Loreal, which is responsible for dsitribution of prada beauty products and they told me it got 100% discontinued.
So is it true that brands behave this way, i.e. pull products off retail sites, let the stocks dwindle without an official announcement of discontinuation? In other words, in a sneaky way?

I cant get any confirmation on the discontinuation of Prada LHomme Intense here in Germany. It got a little more expensive, but thats it. I am kind of unsure to get a few more bottles. So annoying that they cant just say yes we dont produce it anymore.

Couldnt find Prada L´Homme Intense also in local retail store yesterday in Tallinn, Estonia. Only L´Homme was on the shelve.

No chance they are discontinued Spicebomb Extreme is brilliant SWY OG a bit weak but Intensely and Absolutely are my go too in that line

I tried to find Prada L'homme in-store to try before I got it. Couldn't find it anywhere (Brighton UK). They only had the Luna Rossa line. Had to blind buy PLH but I definitely don't regret it
Prada L'Homme Intense has been pretty difficult to obtain for a while now. I think I had pending notifications from multiple discounters for over 5 months, before I received one and picked up 2 x 100ml bottles a few weeks ago. I think there were only 13 bottles available when I received that notification. Fragrancebuy had the 50ml bottles available as part of its 8th anniversary sale, but they are/have been a strict limit 1 purchase (50ml and 100ml). I'm glad I picked up my two bottles, because it really is an amazing fragrance.
Side note - Acqua Di Gio Profondo Lights, which was always a limited edition, has been discontinued according to the chat agent. It is no longer even searchable on the website, despite the banner still showing under the ADG fragrances.
Profondo Lights was a waste of time they have perfumo and Profondo so its actually getting harder to purchase the Perfumo so lucky i have my 125ml bottle and a 75ml bottle still in the wrapping that one cost 5 fingers.

The intense version is too strong for me, so I barely use it but I don't plan on selling it. I do love the original L'homme and L'eau version. They better not discontinue those... They would be better off discontinuing amber line rather than l'homme line!
What fragrances does the l’eau smell like to you? Is that mostly a warm summer scent ?

It's still being sold at Prada China and Sephora Oman/UAE. But its very challenging to import back it to my country Malaysia. Too sad Prada axed this line.

Probably gonna go with Burberry London as that one reminds me the most of thanksgiving and Christmas.

July 28th, Intense 100ml is available on the French site. That said i'm still nervous about the regular l'homme. Getting me one cause i love it. just in case. Note, can also still find that in places online. interestingly, i don't see it on discounters except in small or giant bottles.
Just ordered a 1.7 back up for my 3.4 even though I just opened up my 3.4 and wore once. Its gorgeous to me and pretty strong. It'll fetch a penny in the future like Ultra Zest because of the blacked out bottle.
There are some bottles of Prada L’Homme Intense here at Canadian retailers (Shoppers Drug Mart)
They are the L’Oreal versions, with L’Oreal batch codes on the bottom of the boxes.

Haven't they just released a prada l'homme 150ml? That means it's selling like water...like literally when they increase the size it just means they watered down the juice

Prada L Homme intense is the best gentelman fragrence in the worls
Recently bought 100ml Prada L'Homme Intense Eau de Parfum at World Duty Free, London Gatwick Airport. They had several on display.
Could it be that Prada is finding it hard to resource material for fragrances during COVID-19? There are shortages on alot of things now. I've ordered fragrances from the US and it's taken a really long time to be dispatched to Aus.

Just checked the European site from Prada. L'Homme is available again and the L'Eau also. Both scents in 50, 100 and 150 ml. The Intense is only available in 100 ml. Guess that will be there last stock.
Prada's page asks me whether I'm in Germany or if I want to update my location. If I choose "Rest of the World", no option to add the fragrace to the cart appears. If I leave it as in Germany, I can add it to the cart, 100 ml for €110.

A retailer in my country confirmed to me that the L’homme line is discontinued! I was quite surprised and asked him for the reason but he did not have the answer…weird, especially the original is such well-known one 🙄 hopefully there was some misunderstandings or false information

L’homme Intense is back on Pradas website as of the time of this comment. But I think it’s the France batches not Spain. I’m hearing the Spain has a little more umph to it

Here in Germany, things are not looking great as well for l'homme intense! on pradas official site you can only find the 100ml bottle, l'homme and l'eau are still there in all sizes. similar pattern on other fragrance sites as well. sometimes you cant even find the 100ml version on grey-market sites anymore.

So sad, so many of my favorite fragrances are being discontinued. First, Guerlain L’homme Ideal Cologne. Then, L’homme Ultime. Then, Atelier Cologne’s Cafe Tuberosa. Now Prada L’homme Intense.
The EDT is not available on their Brazilian website and slowly disappearing from beauty shops here. L'homme Intense is long gone, you can only find overpriced second hand used bottles. Maybe they're not discontinuing it but restricting it to certain places? I don't. That would be so Chanel of them lol.

Dillards isn't carrying prada lunna rosa sport in store right now. I went yesterday to buy a bottle and I tried online and they only had 1 size bottle in stock.

Not sure if it's being discontinued but its now really hard to find and the prices have increased so muchh here in Malaysia.
I contacted Prada and L-oreal and they confirmed that Prada l'homme intense was discontinued. I don't have confirmation on Prada l'homme or L'eau though. Sending you an email Ash
So; real question here. WHY do companys discontinue their fragrances? Like specially working ones like Prada lhomme?
The lack of raw materials and or/ being banned by IFRA.

Sales not particularly great in Europe. I think they’re going to drop the l’eau and intense . No stores where I live in UK carry any of the L’homme line.
picked up the last bottle of this at the bay today. a pharmacy had a few bottles and they didn't know anything about any supposed discontinuation, said they got those bottles recently. but maybe those were the last of what they would get? dunno.
the discounter sites i checked are all out of stock.

I bought prada l'homme L’eau this summer. It smells dull & make me nauseous. Nothing likeable about it....i think it's the iris.
But….. it’s not at discounters. Sold out just about everywhere
No loss...Prada's iris makes my eyes water.
