I got an oscar and a red parrot very recently and they're in kind of a little tank with a filter. The oscar has gone grey and refuses to eat anything. I dont know what im doing wrong, cause im a total noob with fishes. Can someone please advise me? I don't want him to die. The parrot is doing ok
Yes 45 gallons is small. I recommend 60-75 gallons minimum. You can feed your oscar once a day since he is 10 inches. For smaller ones, you want to do twice a day.
Feed 2x a day or once a day i sometimes give them 3 feeds a day. Or you can feed them as much as they can eat within 3 mins some people feed fish every 2nd day. Mixing there food up is better i feed mine live food such as crickets, earth worms, pellets, frozen cubes and once a wk a baby mice. Fish will eat anything that will fit in there mouth

Yep I feed dry pellets. But nice! Soaked is cool too.

you will definitely need to give them more space when they get bigger I have one thats less than a year old and he's 9 inches

What do you mean? Did I feed all this in at one time? No it was separated. I fed this stuff to him starting the first time I got him though.
