Thank you for all the great videos! I don't think I have ever missed one. I do not find the recipe for this dish on your web site. Therefore, I can not download it. Also, if I could ask, have you ever considered doing any videos with fermenting? I am doing some fermenting with salt, but my recipes are not as creative as I know yours would be.
@@lisapop5219 we do a lot of camping and hiking so we freeze dry a lot of our foods. It’s pretty easy to rehydrate things and still taste good when we aren’t able to keep things frozen.
This looks delicious! I have made Italian Stuffed Shells (stuffed with Ricotta cheese and spinach then covered with pasta sauce/meat and Mozzarella cheese) and a Chicken Alfredo version. I will definitely have to make these. Thanks for sharing.
I have loved packing a lunch in our bento boxes for years! I think I will pack them into our new amp trailer for day trips! Thanks for this great idea! Thanks to you, I also have the little Bluetti, and we can have these and other hot meals while we are traveling. I bought us, a son and a daughter-in-law the same type of ovens last year for Christmas, and now we can use ours in our pickup while we pull our trailer to a new estimation. Great idea! Thank you!
thanks for your hard work I very much enjoy these recipes But I must ask do you know any recipes for lamb 🐑 &can lamb be canned? I have looked on UA-cam but only found beef and pork 🙂
So good and surprisingly easy to make. But the recipe should come with a WARNING : Pasta Shells may disappear, from sheet pan, during the cooling process. 😋😂😂😂
Yum… that soft sided oven is great. I have a big metal box one, and it is so cumbersome…. I think I will look into one like this. I was also surprised to see the plastic Bento was able to go into the oven.. that’s great to know.. thanks as always Pam and Jim. Xo
Thanks Pam! I will try the recipe of course, but thank you most for putting me on to the Portable oven!!! I just got one and can't wait to try it!! 🙏❤️🔥
I make a similar recipe with taco meat mixed with refried beans and topped with cheddar and chopped green onion. The sauce is a chunky salsa. They freeze great as well.
These look so fun & tasty. I wonder for a tasty change if sausage would work well? I bet it would! LOVE the freezing idea. I split casseroles when I make them and freeze one of the halves. So convenient! Another winner video, thank you both.
That looks delicious and even though some calories to it, so much better than fast food for you. You also know what's in it for salt and the amount of cheese, etc. Great for road trip and also to have on hand for quick lunch or even with a salad for unexpected company. An Italian version would be good also. Or a chicken alfredo version. Thank you! 💕💕
As ALWAYS another fantastic video. 👏 We had Mexican lasagna last night and were talking about making it in shells next time. Perfect timing, Pam and Jim. Mmmmm yummmmm!

Please tell us how long it takes ,once you place your food in the car oven. I believe ,the 12 bolt oven takes several hours just to heat the meals up.
For myself, I would freeze the sauce in ice cube trays to add because I like a saucy pasta. The recipe sounds very good
I agree or we’ve dehydrated sauce and then just added hot water when we reheated.
@shortymcfox2251 good point. My brain was only thinking freezing. Thank you

Great conversation...thanks!

You are welcome.

That is awesome!
Can you freeze dry these??
Yes, I did and they turned out great.
thanks for your hard work I very much enjoy these recipes But I must ask do you know any recipes for lamb 🐑 &can lamb be canned? I have looked on UA-cam but only found beef and pork 🙂
I don't really use lamb. Yes, it can be pressure canned. Here is a link. nchfp.uga.edu/how/can_05/strips_cubes_chunks.html
I wonder if they would be crispy if an air fryer was used
You could try that to see. I bet they would turn out crispy.
I will try this recipe. It looks delicious!
We really like it.
Pam, the color of your shirt compliments you very well.
Oh thank you!

I was able to get some into the freezer. May have to do a double batch next time. ❤
Yes, I agree! But we did freeze some at the time, but they are gone now! LOL!
Never saw a car oven! Does that hook up in the cigarette lighter?
Yes. We connect it to our Bluetti--solar generator--and it works great. But a car cigarette lighter would also work.
You don’t need to turn on the ac inverter on the bluetti for the DC outlet to work
Noted!

I was a little leery the first time I tried it, but they work great!
I can’t wait to try this! I love Mexican food. Thank you Pam and Jim!
You are welcome.

Dr Pam⚘️
Oh my-- this meal looks scrumptious ..Thank you
Blessings #teamcantrell❤
You are very welcome.
Wondering if these would be too thick or not to freeze dry. Perhaps the more difficult aspect would be reconstituting without turning them to mush.
I think they would work great. I was considering freeze drying a batch myself!
I always feel smarter after watching! 👍♥️😁
LOL! So glad! Thanks.

This looks amazing! Thankyou, I basically do this with extra enchaladas.
That is a great idea! Thanks.

Anything Mexican is my favorite! Thanks Pam and Jim. Huge fan of both channels here in Kansas.
Thank you so much. So glad you like both our channels.
Yummy, thanks for sharing!
My pleasure 😊
Where did you get your car oven?
You can check it out in our Amazon store. Click the link at the top of the page. roseredhomestead.com
Your hair looks great and so does the shells.
LOL! Thank you.
Where did you get that oven bag? Are you planning to put it on your Amazon page?
Never mind! I found it on your amazon site :D
Glad you found it! We really like it.
Yes. Yum.
As ALWAYS another fantastic video. 👏

Trail Grazers, do you think these would work freeze dried?
This looks very tasty. I think I'll add a bit of the sauce to the meat mixture, too.
I think they would be great freeze dried. And yes, I will also be adding more sauce next time.
@trailgrazers3690 thank you.
