I didn't see Charlie's (Slimecicle's) POV but seeing it in this vid how he successfully defended Ranboo filling in the wool. Wow now that was a clutch moment. Big props to Charlie and Ranboo.
let's not forget about how sapnap told his teammates to track punz's movements during the teal vs red match up which contributed a lot to their victory.
Sapnap game sense is what makes him the best Battle Box player imo. He manages to make the best decision most of the time, making him team win against equally mechanically gifted players like Dream, Fruit, Punz or Illumina; like not caring of the emerald backline and just preventing Dream of flanking, immediately pushing Fruit off the wool but not chasing him since it would make him vulnerable, etc... Say what you will about him, even that outside of MCC settings he gets outclassed by Dream, Techno, Fruit, Illumina, etc, but the guy is a monster in BB.
Honestly, MCC 19 was one of my favorite MCCs, sure it had the Teal Domination. But it wasnt much as MCC AS. All top 4 teams were intereing to watch as they all were neck to neck. And MCC 19 Battle Box? Definitely my favorite
@@Overthinker8 "Awful" isn't a word you should use. Since they could do decent to great at SG. The problem for Emerald is that they were killed early. Red did pull some coins but they were killed by being outnumbered and outarmored. Teal pulled through since they killed many players, including Emerald Elves (except Ranboo) and some of the Red Reindeers.
@@BulbasaurRepresent Sorry, sorry, I actually realized it just earlier but I forgot to change the comment. Thanks for reminding me. But yes, MCC 15 wasn't a complete Domination
love the strategy analysis! This video explains maps, formations, and item usage very well! and can pinpoint the winning factor in a clear way (communication, efficiency etc. )
Hold up, tommy didnt troll on philza by just throwing the potion of harming to philza....it was a mere accident. Cerulean and Teal almost have the same color which was a disadvantage for both....(even with a glow tho)
Really love the in-depth straetgy videos. It's awesome to look back and appreciate the great plays and theorise about the reasoning behind the strategy that a team focused on.
everyone always complains about how Sapnap gets an op team when he's literally almost every time the reason the team is op in the first place. he has just gotten very freaking good and I love seeing his mcc plays every time, stay mad xo
I think the trouble with SG strategies versus something like BB is that SG is verrrrry situational. The teams all head out in different directions, they will open different chests with different loot, and the strength of the teams likely to be close to them will vary. With the new airdrop system, there's also the fact that some teams will be closer to the airdrops than others. Some teams are also more likely to get targeted than others, making it a lot harder to strategize effectively. I think SG is a mix of testing one's ability to react and sheer rng, so it's a bit harder to strategize.
But the fact that cerulean candy canes a team not very good at PvP and they still won so I find is interesting to see what they did different from others that they won in such a tough competition
Loved the video! I would like to comment though that this is actually the 4th canon 9 for 9, as Blue 3 and Aqua 5 are commonly missed 9/9 battle boxes (even though they weren't max points from kills I believe).
I love your little animated overhead map representations; why not do some for various battlebox aces throughout seasons 1 and 2? Like, for each participant who has gotten an ace, pick their "best" and give it the overhead analysis treatment?

I love in depth strategy reviews and yours are no different I would love to see more of this content from you in the future
7:34 That's actually such a nice play that I didn't see before!
I like this style of video with the strategy reviews and detailed they are, would love to see more in the future
Keep in mind, both times there was a 9/9 in battle box, sapnap was on that team I believe
sapnap is just amazing bro
Both times there was a PERFECT 9/9 battle box (meaning all possible 36kills)
I think the first 9/9 battle box was mcc 3 blue bats

@@Overthinker8 Ok, I see you point and yes, I was kinda saddened and shocked from what happened in SG
MCC15 domination? Before game 8 the teams that ended up going to dodgebolt weren't in the top 2.
MCC15 was the most balanced S2 event I think.

I love a wool-rush unfriendly map.
apart from the fact it's very easy to wool rush this map if you do it right
@@Redddragon yea a tester team got 2nd and fruit rushed like half the teams
punz and sapnap really destroyed this game
I feel like many people forget that the blue bats in MCC 3 had the first 9/9 battle box
5:27 pretty sure its the fourth 9/9 in canon events, dont forget mcc5/mcc3
It's perfect 9/9 (perfect 9/9 means getting a 9/9 and getting all 36 kills)
Really love the in-depth straetgy videos. It's awesome to look back and appreciate the great plays and theorise about the reasoning behind the strategy that a team focused on.
5:25 ? No, more than 1 team has gotten 9 for 9 before this event.
They said perfect 9/9, which is a 9/9 with 36 kills getting you the maximum coins possible in Battle Box
everyone always complains about how Sapnap gets an op team when he's literally almost every time the reason the team is op in the first place. he has just gotten very freaking good and I love seeing his mcc plays every time, stay mad xo
That is partially true, but you can't deny that he got better teams than almost all if not all the S tiers
Maybe a vid on survival games history and the teams winning survival games and their strategies

There is actually 4 teams that has done 9/9 mcc 3 blue, mcc 5 aqua, mcc 13 Coral and teal
But only some got 36/36 kills
@@reddIoI only two
And if you count non-canon events, it was 5 teams with P21 Lime Llamas included there.
He called it a "perfect 9/9" it means getting 9/9 and getting all 36 kills.
This battle box was quite interesting I hope they use the leaves map next mcc
teal's strat was really similar to coral's from last year
The only difference is instead of two snipers, they had only one, and also had someone on wool.
As some of the comments say we love in depth strategies of certain gamemodes i would love to see more of this
0:14 gogy being gogy
alternative title: dream smp members killing Scott and Joel repeatedly
Didn’t one of Pete’s early teams with tommy get 9/9 ?
yup, mcc 5 aqua
aqua5 didn't have a perfect 9/9 because they didn't get all kills possible like coral13 and teal19
@@Toulou_ They still won the 9 rounds anyways.
It wasn't a perfect 9/9

I think Slimecicle did really well in MCC 19, considering it was his first MCC ever. He was place 19 out of all players after just half of the games.
I'd love to see more strategy videos.
“Teal Turkeys had great usage of their kits”
Tommy’s axe: -_-

that was the fourth time someones gone 9/9 lol blue 3 did it aqua 5 did it and coral 13+ teal 19

Thinking about how Sapnap has yet to die on Santa’s Slay. Like ever.
He's died before on it he's just never lost

Battle Box analyses are by far my favourite videos on the channel.
poor eret trying to tell his team fruit
Best MCC Highlight video in 2022 so far

Sapnap vs sapnap 😆
