I actually quit the blumaan challenge in January (my hair was like 1 cm under my lower lip, almost at my chin).

That's actually close to how I have my hair for the past 20 years... but I seem to lack the products to really get the right control. So far it's been foam and at the end of the day it all falls down, unless I use excessive amounts of foam. I too have a lot of hair and always thin it out.
Then the sticky gum like gel/cream/pomade's I have tried in the beginning and didn't like. Aperently the last years there have been better solutions that I now finally will try again.
I really hope I can get a look without it being sticky and still have hold and not being a total wet look.
