Dude. Man. All those tips you just mentioned, I naturally picked it up myself over time but didn't for sure know why I did it; I just did. But now, watching your video and seeing the manoeuvring has given me hope to keep growing my hair out. Thanks, big boss!
I always assumed that I was balding because I have a natural part in the middle that exposes my scalp very similar to the one displayed in this video. Don't ask why but it's quite relieving to know that I'm good for now.
@@hungrybritishshorthair1976 when it occured to me that I wasn't actually balding it was genuinely a giant weight off my chest.. it was all I could think about sometimes.
Thank you for this vid! My hair is long, but my part is due to the fact that I have a particular hairstyle for work (double buns) that make it so that my voluminous hair does not make my hair net fall off or makes me look 30 years old (not that theres anything wrong with that, I'm just not there yet). The parting I had started to create some pain on the scalp... the blow drying tip SAVED me. Thank you so much!
I've literally been looking for this advice for so long literally puts me at ease thank you sir wow I wondered I thought this was not normal but now I realize I thought that the reason your hairline goes down in the middle like that is because of the hair weighing down
Thank you. I am growing my hair and this has been the biggest problem. I'm going to try this the next time I wash my hair. I even did brush the hair slightly to one side to break the pattern.
God dang it this videos just dropped when i need it!! I grew it my hair from summer until now and its gotten long enough for a proper slickback. Gonna try your tips tomorrow since i had this exact problem.
I get nervous always about changing my hairstyle. Wanna do a slicked back undercut with a low bald fade but I’m so worried this is gonna happen because of my colics. Plus the last time I got a haircut instead of having the barber or stylist misunderstand me when explaining I show a picture because it can explain better than I can with words. She took one look at the picture for literally 2 seconds and didn’t do even close to what I wanted. I wanted to say something but I also didn’t want to jump the gun because some people have their process where they may do a blend as the last thing but it just never got there. Plus I don’t wanna be an asshole but she didn’t speak very good English and I don’t think she got it. Glad to know now the terms and things to do in order to prevent the part in the middle as well as tell them exactly what I want. Salute my friend.
Bro this is why I don't like going to barbers and shit. A lot of them aren't truly professionals. They just do linings and blowouts and never tell you, i can't do this hairstyle or "i don't understand."
It's just when I used to slick it back, long time ago now, wet and let it dry.. If blow dried would always preferred not to apply a finishing product to enjoy the cleaner feel better.. Surely before mask and no rinse out protection prior to drying.. Happy new year..
If you're new to combing your hair back id also suggest wearing a hairnet while your hair is wet everyday. Itll train your hair to all go back. But yes once it gets too long it will always naturally part unless you have alot of product
The splitting is most commonly caused by a cowlick at the back of the head. A cowlick is a small section of hair that grows at a different angle than the rest of the hair on your head. Hair cowlicks are caused by genetics and are typically located at the crown of your head.
@@muhammadhaiqal531 everyone has a cowlick bro, and you can't cut it or fight it if your hair is short.. if your hair is long enough you kinda can fight it depends on how strong your growth pattern is
Just want to thank you Steve for the video tutorial of Jack in Titanic. I showed my barber the vid yesterday and he cut my hair flawlessly. Very helpful and informative.
What I do, I push my fingers from side towards middle and pull backwards close to my head, so hair naturally gets folded on top mixing with all the hair so it just stays better there. then just top layer I tend to comb backward ith my fingers. Works great with my hair.
Do you recommend this technique for people with fine hair? In terms of applying products - I’m worried that by doing that it makes my hair look greasy. Any advice would be very helpful! Thanks for posting this video! ☺️
I'm growing my hair and i always go for the slick back style so this was always a common problem for me. Is there a way to train your hair not to part in the middle?
Bro, u legit read me like a book😂 i would apply a water based product when hair still wet, and would only comb straight back. I'm not really good with hair dryer, i tend to make my hair puffy and messed up but I'll try this
What does being a single mother have to do with anything? Long hair is long hair, and being a woman gives you an advantage as you have training in dealing with longer hair that a man may not have.
thanks for this video, I guess the reason mine keeps parting in the middle Is simply due to the length since we are in lockdown and I haven't had a cut since February...
What about an oil-based pomade? I finally grew my hair out to a slick-back undercut and I noticed my hair tend to want to go back towards the right, rather than straight back.
I find that on days I want my hair to stay back putting in some product before blow-drying and a little more product afterwards does the trick for most of the day. If I'm not going to work though I skip the pre blow-dry product because I don't care as much if it loosens up.
*I got korean hair cut I have bangs on my forehead but they part by themselves and look terrible so I am using clips and aloevera gel to keep them in place I'll tell you are they okay or not*
My hair always wants to fall forward no matter what. When I try to slick it back I would have to use a lot of product. I'm Chinese. I don't know if that's how Asian hair is. If I want to do a mid part/curtain cut would it be possible since my hair only wants to fall forward? Thanks
This is very useful but my question is, since we are creating an unnatural part blowdrying the hair to slick it back, time by time will the hair get used to that direction not having needed to blowdry backwards anymore or do i have to repeat this process everytime i want to slick it backwards.
Loving your new looks and watching every single videos of you when I have free time , try to lose some weights and you will look younger with that looks , happy new year btw

Part it on the side
Wear a cap while your hair is still wet and slicked back, your hair will dry with that form, then you apply wax or hair gel
