Hey, sis! In today's video, we are talking about "the wait" and navigating that "in-between". At some point in our faith-walk we are going to experience a waiting season - whether it's for healing, for marriage, for that promotion, or to see the promise God has made you come to pass. And one thing that I've found that has helped me wait with peace in my heart and patience is having the correct perspective on what happens while we wait - which is what I share in this video. I touch on 3 things that God IS doing while we wait. There are definitely more but these are always in the midst! Enjoy!

Hi! My name is Melody Alisa - welcome to my channel. This message was so on time, it served as confirmation and peace for my soul. This waiting season I would describe as TRUST and REST. God is good and His timing is perfect, we only need to trust in and rest on His promises. Don't take your season for granted, but rather take advantage of growing closer to God in a unique way and letting His will be done in Your life. All in the end for His glory! ❤✝

God has used you to talk to me today, I needed this word today🙌. I have been praying for a job for a month now and to my disappointment today I learned that I wasn't picked for the job. I cried and questioned God why because I have been jobless for 3years now. Am financially struggling and this word came in time for me, I needed to hear it. Thank you so much🤗
Love I know how you feel. I just graduated from University and all I've encountered thus far is rejection. Also rejection with friendships, relationships etc.
I pray that God helps you through your process and in his timing provides you with the perfect job.

I am in this same walk with you and will pray for us both to experience the renewing of the mind and inner strength. May we find the courage to believe that He is faithful and this will all be for our good and His glory.
When I was laid off due to the pandemic beginning 2020 I felt so lost. 2 years of highs and lows. These two years were also important for me in repairing my relationship with God. I prayed, cried and had many conversations with God until he opened doors for me this year in getting a job. I did and still question why God has placed me in this season of waiting. Watching peers doing better than me really did (and still) gets to me hard but I also believe God is keeping me isolated just a bit longer and has a bigger vision that is yet to come.
It’s a long journey, but please keep praying and cry whenever you need to. Do things that you enjoy and just hang in there. God definitely has your back and there is a job waiting for you. I will also keep you in my prayers - for all of you in this thread. Good luck ❤

Many words come to mind but one word that comes to mind specifically is faith. During the wait , faith is key. The Bible says faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Our faith propels God to move because faith is what pleases Him. During our waiting, we may be eager while being patient & we may even have questions while trying to trust God in the wait. But God is faithful, and God’s timing is perfect. We just have to trust and know that He is and has always been faithful. He even has a resume or track record (His Word) to prove it. While we wait in faith, we continue to thank God for Who He is, what He’s doing, for what He’s already done, and thank Him for allowing His will to be done in our lives concerning those things we’re waiting for. I love this conversation lol.

"Hope" is one word that comes to my mind when I think of a season of waiting.
God has been teaching me patience, surrender and faith in my waiting season.

Man look at God! Showing up again when I need him the most. Jut today the apartment unit I’ve had my eye on was taken. I was waiting for the price to decrease but I knew I wanted it, it’s perfect! I was sad to see it’s gone but I thought on the positive side. I said well if it was meant to be it’d be there. But now imagine the better thing God has in store for me now. I will wait on him because I trust him even though it’s scary. He’s my father and he knows best! 🥰
I’m also waiting for a husband and better job opportunities and two words to describe these waiting season is “anxious but trusting”
When I think about the season of waiting , I think about preparation.
In order to experience the fullness of Gods blessing , our hearts and minds need to be prepared. Even though we often think we are ready when we ask; often times we aren’t . I look at the preparation as God being intentional.

Reverence. Seeing the mighty nature of God. He does truly something beyond you think of. So reverence. Because all you can do is stand still and watch.
Trust is the word I think of! I am quick to lose faith in God when I don’t understand the waiting process or I don’t see the promise immediately. I believe that God has me wait so He can teach me how to trust Him even when i don’t want to/feel like it won’t happen. Thanks for this video!

wow, i’m convinced God uses you to speak directly to me! today i got the news that my last year of med school may be postponed a couple months because of some monetary issues and it was causing my family a little stress and anxiety but i kept my cool and prayed through getting the news. soon after i watched your video and there was just this overwhelming sense of peace that spread over my heart. i still don’t know exactly what may happen but i’m certain whatever the outcome i have a chance to lean into depending on the Lord, worshiping and testifying with my life 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Mine would be patience and endurance. I’m learning to wait without complaining and being joyful no matter what it looks like. The one word, well thing I know to do is to Praise God in the middle of my hurt, in the middle of the waiting especially when it’s hard.
I can describe my waiting season as PEACE & CLARITY. At his appointed time God makes all things work for good.
The one word that comes to mind is patience. To be able to cultivate that fruit of the spirit while waiting is an added blessing to reaping the bounty of Christ and savouring the rich sweetness of his blessings.
The words that would describe my waiting season would be: pressing and arduous
However, it is building me up in areas I’m weak in and revealing a lot of truths I was blind to before.
Mine would be patience, trust, and understanding that God is totally in control. I've accepted a job, and it's been hard to wait for when I will start.
There seems to be a delay after a delay, with references taking longer than usual. This video came at the right time for me.

This word was right on time. My two words are patience and faith. God's Yes is as good as His No!
In my season of waiting, I am learning that I'm loved by God, especially when I make mistakes. I can see now that he appreciates my effort and encourages me to keep going especially when I want to cower and feel incompetent. When I've messed up I sometimes feel/hear a sweet and engulfing presence telling me" It's okay, keep going.", "I'm here, you're not alone."," I told you it wouldn't be as bad as you thought." Immediately after, I feel so much better because through this time, that's really all I need. God's Validation, protection, and guidance.

Thank you so much for this encouragement, apart from what you have touched on, one of the things God is doing in my waiting season is helping me create capacity for what I’m waiting and praying for.. many times we pray for certain things and yet we don’t even have the capacity to be able to withstand the pressure it’s come with ..therefore, while I wait God is enlarging my capacity receive and accommodate.
I think of TRUST, because that’s what I’m experiencing right now during my waiting season. 🙏🏻🙌🏻💖

Two words for me, even though I feel like it can be many, - is GRATITUDE and PATIENCE. Because phew child, being grateful in a season of waiting is HARD! like the thing you want you do not have yet and so you can spiral into a space of complaining forgetting that God still has blessed you with many many things. This message resonated with me on many levels. Just today in my journey of rediscovering the word I was saying I would start reading my daughter bible stories and I wanted to start with my favorite, Mary. And you started with Mary today. God is always hearing me and that solidifies my trust in him and I have to show him that I’m trustworthy and can stand by my faith. Thank you Melody!

I feel like everything around me is saying I need to wait and God’s putting me in this season of waiting but I haven’t had the Joseph dream, I’m not sure what I’m waiting on. I think I’m not truly waiting and maybe need to do some heart searching to see what I need to give up so I can wait on him. I think I try to fight against the sacrifice in waiting and walk the line between his will and mine. Love to ask for some prayer for the strength and convinction to surrender. If you are not sure what you’re waiting on, there is ONE that we are waiting on together and that’s His return for us! That’s best thing to wait on! Hold out and give up what you want, so Jesus can show you more of Him. God bless you! I hope this bless you.
Trust is my word. Trusting in God I learned to let go and let God, knowing he's working all things out (my prayers) and his promise to me (the vision he placed in my heart) will all come together in his perfect timing. 🙏🏽

Hi Melody.. I would say PATIENCE. I struggle with patience a lot. And another one is FAITH and TRUST.
For me the waiting seasons means that GOD is working behind the scenes for my good and the results will be far more abundantly than I expect or think of.
Holy Spirit Speaking right thru you. God has been speaking to me about “development” and just as film has to go into the dark room to be developed, sometimes we gotta go thru the “dark room”. While in this season of preparation God is 1) Speaking PATIENCE 2) Worship & WORK While You Wait 3) Partnering with him on this journey. Faith + Works =Results …. The one word for me would be Patience. It takes a lot of patience in the waiting season. Patience is a skill I am working on because of how society is today I’m thinking everything has to be quick and in a hurry. I know one day I will be an expert at it.
This is great counsel on three foundational aspects of waiting on God. There is the Word and there is the Wait. The longer the Wait upon receipt of the Word--usually the greater the impact. His Kingdom is arising. Blessings to you.
when i think of waiting i thing of the word ambiguous. To be ambiguous is to be open to more than one interpretation. So even if doubts creep up or others feed us alternatives, we are still 100% open to Gods promise
For me it's Trust and Patience! This is a big struggle for me. I'm learning in this current season I'm in (single) it's very important to have patience and trust with God and myself.
My few words are....worth it 🙏 At the beginning of this year I prayed that God would bless me with a job. If I am honest at one point I got tired of waiting but God gave me the strength to wait on Him.I started working in May of this year. God is so good it was worth the wait. I've learned to depend on God's timing.

2 Corinthians 4 vs 16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Suffering and Patience; godly suffering brings about discipline and there’s order to how God operates and it’s important to understand who our Father is and His character but to also recognize what he is not. I’m learning in this season that the enemy is subtle in his schemes and deception is indeed real and no matter how long we’ve walked with the LORD, we can and will be deceived but when we are trained up in the LORD through waiting and self-discipline we begin to see those deceptions much sooner and we’re able to Stand Firm, Be on guard, and Remain steadfast in the Will of God by the Word of God. Waiting keeps us humble and at the LORD’s feet♥️

That’s crazyyy how I was just talking about this last night with my mom. I want to start dating.. I’ve never dated before and I’ve only been in long distance situtionships…and I grow impatient, I also wonder if time is running out even though I’m only 25 and I’m working on finally getting my life together and having some direction in my life. I love your content ! I have been going through a rough patch, parting ways so unexpectedly with someone who I felt a true connection with, I was so hurt, I kept wondering why? but after this I'm starting to see what happened from a different perspective, that God is preparing me for something better, and that this is just a delay and not a decline. That maybe this change was for the both of us and not just me, so thank you because I was seeing everything from a low perspective❤
